'We Have The Evidence': Kari Lake Undeterred By Arizona Supreme Court Ruling - 'We Saw What They Did'

Gubernatorial Candidate Kari Lake (R-AZ) reacted matter-of-factly when the Arizona Supreme Court rejected a motion Thursday to transfer her election challenge out of the Division Two Appellate Court and into the Supreme Court itself. Whereas many mainstream media outlets are presenting this as 'another legal setback,' when this potential outcome was essentially baked into the initial motion.

The court ruled, "Upon consideration of the Court en banc, no good cause appears to transfer the matter to this Court. Therefore, IT IS ORDERED denying the Petition for Transfer."

According to Newsweek, "Lake filed a total of 10 claims alleging that the election was stolen from her, but in December, eight of them were dismissed by Judge Peter Thompson. A trial in the same month resulted in the remaining two claims getting tossed."

“Since December, Lake has continued to appeal her contests, filing several. In March, the state Supreme Court dismissed six of seven claims brought by Lake regarding the 2022 election. The remaining one was eventually dismissed by an Arizona trial court in May. The most recent ruling by the high court on Wednesday was in response to her appeal filed on the last day of May,” the outlet added.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, the current state of play was anticipated as a potential route for Lake's legal team who, on appeal, noted they may request the case be heard by either the appellate court or the Arizona Supreme Court.

Speaking with 'Liberty Hour' in a video posted by Kari Lake War Room on Friday, Lake said, "We're going to have to work our way through the appellate court, & we're fine with that. We have the evidence. We have 100% proof that they stole this election. They stole our victory. They disenfranchised the voters of Arizona, & we're going to prove that in court."

While many have suggested that she shelve her legal challenge and pivot to a run for U.S. Senate, on the day she filed this appeal in May, she told supporters, "We saw what they did to the machines. We have the proof what they did to the machines."

"They rigged the machines to fail on Election Day when We the People showed up to cast our sacred vote, and until we get our government back, I’m not going to stop fighting. I don’t care what they say."

“I don’t give a damn about having a political career, I want to save our country,” she told them. Conversely, she seems to be leaving the option open when, as The Hill reported, she said, “I’ve looked at the polling, to be honest, and I believe I’m the only one who can win that race."

She added, “We have an opportunity to pick up a very important seat so that when President Trump gets back into office, he can have people in D.C. ready to back him up with this incredible agenda.”

That said, her fighting the ongoing legal battle and running for Senate does not seem to be mutually exclusive either, particularly at the early stages of the race.
