Kennedy Jr. SLAMS Biden And The Democrat Party Elite For Abandoning Americans – ‘I Aim To Reclaim My Party And Its Traditional Values’

On Tuesday, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the son of the late 1968 presidential candidate, took to Twitter to blast the Democrat Party for embracing the elite and leaving behind the American middle class.

“I have known and liked Joe Biden for many years, but we differ profoundly on fundamental issues such as corporate influence in government, censorship, civil liberties, poverty, corruption, and war policy, among others,” RFK Jr. said in response to Biden’s reelection announcement posted Tuesday morning.

“I look forward to engaging him in debates and town hall meetings, in a primary election that is honest, civil, and transparent,” he said, adding, “I invite him into a new era of respectful dialog in these times of division.”

“I am a multi-generational Democrat, but I think our party has gone off track,” he said. “Remember when we upheld the interests of the poor and middle class against big corporations and Wall Street?”

“Remember when we were the party of peace, civil liberties, and people power?” he asked. “I aim to reclaim my party and its traditional values.”

“The Biden administration is riddled with Neocons, war hawks, Wall Street people, and former corporate lobbyists,” Kennedy Jr. explained. “That’s what the party elite has become. But I know the rank-and-file — and the American people as a whole — don’t share their priorities. It’s time to return our party and our nation to the people. #Kennedy24”

Kennedy Jr. is right. The Democrat Party has become a party that prioritizes the wealthy elite and not America’s working class. Their policy priorities emphasize the rich coastal elites over middle America and a globalist agenda puts America last.

Kennedy’s message is resonating with some Democrats, however. In a recent poll from The Hill, RFK Jr. secured 14 percent support from Democrat primary voters. Meanwhile, a large majority, 70 percent, said Joe Biden shouldn’t run for a second term, as reported by The Hill.

RFK Jr. is presenting a different path forward for the Democrat Party and it is up to the voters to decide if they want to abandon the 80-year-old Biden for a Democrat who represents a different age.

If Democrats decide to not take that route, however, Steve Bannon proposed the idea of a Trump/Kennedy Jr. ticket for the GOP which would certainly be an interesting, and possibly unifying, ticket for the White House.
