Biden Super PAC Has $12 MILLION Discrepancy, Legal Experts Say Prison Time Could Be On The Table - It's 'Beyond Troubling'

The Biden-supporting Super PAC Future Forward should be investigated due to a "troubling" $12 million financial discrepancy in its disclosures according to a legal watchdog group following an investigative report from The Washington Free Beacon.

According to Free Beacon, Future Forward is referred to by the Biden administration as the "pre-eminent super PAC" supporting President Joe Biden's 2024 run as the Democrat incumbent. The $12 million hole the outlet reported comes from a 2021 claim by the group that it had received only $3.4 million cash from its associated dark money group. However, this was highly questionable after the group's 2021 tax return revealed it gave $15.3 million to the Super PAC that year.

Kendra Arnold, executive director of the watchdog group Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust told the outlet,

"The apparent numerous and blatant discrepancies in the recent filings by both the nonprofit and the super PAC are beyond troubling,"

"This situation calls for an investigation," she told Free Beacon. She noted that the enormous discrepancy in the reported figures "is a telltale sign of inaccuracies and a deeper problem."

An attorney specializing in non-profit organizations Jason Torchinsky made a similar statement, observing that an obvious failure of an organization to report millions of dollars in contributions "would be a serious matter that the Federal Election Commission would investigate."

According to the outlet, the figures on either side of the transaction both from the dark money group and the output to the Super PAC should typically match.

The Washington Free Beacon found in its investigation,

"In 2021, Future Forward USA Action reported in its IRS tax return that it provided $15.3 million to the super PAC that year. Future Forward should have reported the same number in its reports to the FEC. But instead, the super PAC claimed it received just $3.4 million from its sister dark money group in 2021. The remaining $12 million is completely unaccounted for in the super PAC’s reporting, a discrepancy that Arnold called 'beyond troubling.'"

The Government Accountability Institute posted to X that the Super PAC "has already raised over 400 million for Biden's reelection campaign, from sources such as 'Future Forward USA Action', who have refused to release their donor list."

Republican election lawyer Charlie Spies told Free Beacon that this behavior is a violation of federal election law.

“Future Forward USA Action admitted to making over $3 million in earmarked political contributions, where they apparently obscured the true super PAC donor’s identity by routing the money through the nonprofit,” he told them.

“The U.S. DOJ has sent people to prison for this sort of illegal activity, and the FEC has imposed major fines on conservative organizations accused of less blatant earmarking," he explained.
