RINO Liz Cheney’s Democrat Allies Abandon Her After Humiliating Loss, Leaving Her Friendless: ‘Don’t forget who Liz Cheney actually is’

Following the primary election loss of Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) to Harriet Hageman last week, those on the left have begun to abandon the congresswoman as her usefulness for their cause is coming to an end.

Despite being vice chairwoman of the January 6 Committee and turning on Trump to appease Democrats, many leftists have turned their back on the “Republican” who has hinted at a potential presidential run in 2024

Democrats took to social media to malign Cheney for her prior support for the “America First” agenda and vowed that they would never support her for a potential presidential bid, per the Daily Wire.

“Don’t forget who Liz Cheney*actually* is. Liz Cheney has voted with Trump for 93% of her career. Donations she has received for the 2022 election cycle: Oil/Gas: $142K Pharmaceutical: $93K Women’s Issues (Pro-‘Life’): $130K Real Estate: $394K Securities/Investment: $637K,” one user tweeted, adding, “Liz Cheney is still bought and paid for by corporate America, she is still voting for fascism, she is still against women’s rights.”

Other users pointed out Cheney’s 93 percent voting record with former President Trump and her attacks on former Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton: “I seriously can’t understand lifelong ‘Democrats’ & ‘resisters’ who would vote for Liz Cheney if she ran in 2024,” tweeted one user. “She Voted against the Voting rights act, giving a boost to voter suppression. Bragged when Roe vs Wade was overturned, voted with Trump 93%, and look at this gem …”

Meanwhile, USA Today opinion columnist Michael Stern criticized liberals who said they would vote for a Cheney ticket in 2024: “Liz Cheney put country over party when Trump ignited an insurrection in an effort to take over American Democracy. She gets credit for that. But, she voted with Trump 93% of the time. She celebrated the end of Roe. Quit saying you’ll vote for her if she runs for president.”

David Sirota, editor-in-chief of LeverNews, tweeted that liberals who support Cheney don’t actually care about progressive issues: “If you’re a self-described liberal who wants Liz Cheney to run for president, you are loudly telling on yourself about how little you actually care about reproductive rights, economic justice, and climate change.”

Cheney was able to draw a large number of Wyoming Democrats to her campaign last week with voter registration for Democrats from January 1, 2022, to the August 16 primary decreased by 20 percent while Republican registration shot up by 10 percent, according to Politico.

Cheney still lost her primary with Democrat support and her belief that she would be able to potentially run against former President Donald Trump in 2024 and be an upset candidate proves just how out-of-touch she is with the rest of the Republican party.

The daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, who the left also maligned throughout his tenure, is now a politician without a home as both Republicans and Democrats reject her. What comes next for the congresswoman is hopefully an early retirement.
