MAGA Inc’s Karoline Leavitt: ‘Trump’s Indictment Is Illegitimate, Trump Threatens The Uni-Party In Washington’

Super PAC MAGA Inc.’s new spokeswoman, Karoline Leavitt, spoke with Breitbart News Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle on Sunday and slammed far-left District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s frivolous indictment of 45th President and leading 2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump as illegitimate.

“There is no question about whether this is a legitimate criminal indictment or if it is a political persecution. It is absolutely the latter,” she said.

“The American people see this for what it is, legal scholars on both sides of the aisle, even those who are not very fond of Donald Trump, the man himself, have said, ‘this case has no legal grounding, there is no crime,’” Leavitt said.

“This is what the Democrats do. They make up a crime. They accuse Trump of it, then they try and go and find it. No different with [Manhattan District Attorney] Alvin Bragg,” she added.

“The only crime near that is that President Trump is the greatest threat to those in power like Alvin Bragg, like George Soros, like Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, and the uni-party in Washington, DC, that have been after him since the day he came down that escalator,” she continued.

“American people are fed up with this witch hunt,” she said. 

“They are fed up with Democrats politicians, using their tax dollars, the government we paid for right, is being weaponized against us. It really is a pivotal moment in American politics in the history of this world,” she added.

“It’s unfathomable what is happening, but the rally around the flag effect. So President Trump is so powerful,” she continued.

“And you’re seeing American Republicans and independents, right? Elected officials and voters in states from New Hampshire to Iowa to Nevada, rallying behind this man because they understand what we are up against. This is a scary, scary time in American history,” she said.

Bragg could face up to five years in prison if he is responsible for leaking Trump’s frivolous indictment.

Leaking grand jury testimony is a Class E felony under New York state law and carries a prison sentence between one and five years.

“A Class E felony charge is considered more serious than a misdemeanor charge, and as such carries a potentially longer jail sentence. While a Class A misdemeanor in New York carries a sentence of up to 364 days, a Class E felony can result in a sentence of between one year and five years,” according to The Law Offices of Julie Rendelman.

The New York County Clerk’s office issued an order on March 31 stating Bragg is only allowed to disclose to the public that Trump’s indictment has been issued.

On Tuesday, Trump is expected to be fingerprinted in New York, but not have a mug shot taken. After the booking is complete, Trump will appear before a judge for his arraignment where he will face 30 currently unknown charges due to Bragg’s sealed indictment.

Trump’s campaign announced on Sunday that after he flies back from New York to Palm Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, Trump is set to deliver remarks about his experience from his Mar-A-Lago club.

Trump’s lawyers are bracing for Judge Justice Juan Merchan to place a gag order on Trump in an attempt to prevent him from speaking about his arrest on Tuesday.

Under New York law, the fine for breaking a gag order holds a penalty of either 30 days in jail or a $1,000 fine.

Bragg, who has been exposed as being funded by a group supported by far-left billionaire George Soros, was able to get a Manhattan grand jury to vote to indict Trump on Thursday.

Adult film “star” Stormy Daniels was ordered to pay Trump $300,000 after losing a defamation case against him. However, on Thursday, a Manhattan grand jury voted to indict President Trump over a $130,000 payment to Daniels made by his former lawyer and now-convicted liar, Michael Cohen.

This makes Trump the first American president to ever face criminal charges.

The Color of Change PAC, the “nation’s largest online racial justice organization”, which was given $1 million in May 2021 from Soros, gave $1 million to Bragg but later pulled back half of their donation.
