Matt Walsh SLAMS Bud Light, Says Backlash Over Association With Radical Transgender Activist Is ‘Well-Deservered’

On Tuesday, Daily Wire host Matt Walsh slammed ‘Bud Light’ after they decided to associate with radical transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney.

“The only negative here is the possibility that we won’t keep it up and this will just be a blip on the radar screen, and conservatives will just go back to buying Bud Light again. As long as we don’t make that mistake, then this is a big win,” Walsh told viewers of the ‘Matt Walsh Show,’ as reported by The Daily Wire.

“You can cut Bud Light out of your life in a second, it requires no effort, and you will be fine. Even if you like that kind of terrible beer, there are other types that are just as cheap,” Walsh continued.

“The Left selected Mulvaney as their mascot for transgenderism… But we can make someone a much more toxic and divisive figure than he otherwise would have been. That’s what we did with Dylan Mulvaney, and it was well deserved,” Walsh remarked.

Bud Light’s choice to associate with Dylan Mulvaney is genuinely baffling. Thus far, the American people are far from impressed. As such, Bud Light is alienating much of their traditional market. The New York Post reports that Bud Light has lost five billion dollars in value since the controversy began.

“Beer Colossus Anheuser-Busch saw its value plummet more than $5 billion since the company announced its branding partnership with controversial transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney,” The New York Post reports.”Since March 31, shares of Bud Light’s parent company have fallen by nearly 4% — knocking down the company’s market capitalization from $132.38 billion to $127.13 billion on Wednesday.”

Nonetheless, Bud Light Vice President of Marketing Alissa Heinerscheid assured Americans the association was made to revamp the beer company.

“I’m a businesswoman, I had a really clear job to do when I took over Bud Light, and it was ‘This brand is in decline, it’s been in a decline for a really long time, and if we do not attract young drinkers to come and drink this brand there will be no future for Bud Light,‘” Heinerscheid said. “We had this hangover, I mean Bud Light had been kind of a brand of fratty, kind of out-of-touch humor, and it was really important that we had another approach.”

Several high-profile personalities have offered their reactions to Bud Light choosing to associate with radical transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney — and these widely disparate reactions highlight the deeply divided nature of contemporary American discourse.
