Mayor Pete BLASTED For Lackluster East Palestine Visit As Contrast Shows President Trump’s True Leadership

On Thursday, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg visited East Palestine, Ohio nearly three weeks after a train derailed in the town on February 3rd leading to toxic chemicals seeping into the local water supply and contaminating the air.

Buttigieg’s trip comes one day after 45th President Donald Trump delivered thousands of pounds of supplies to residents in need and bought first responders meals for their hard work.

In response to Buttigieg’s coincidental timing and his visit that continued to highlight his incompetence, critics on social media blasted the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana.

“Trump Water is trending on Twitter because libs are really upset that Donald Trump actually did something to help the people of East Palestine when their beloved Joe and mayor Pete did jack shit,” wrote Donald Trump Jr., adding, “and let the great people of that town suffer for nearly 3 weeks.”

As the response to Pete Buttigieg in East Palestine is lukewarm at best, the American people see through the façade he is attempting to put up. Buttigieg was put into his position as a diversity hire in an attempt to make him the first openly gay cabinet secretary despite having no experience in the job he was supposed to complete. Mayor Pete’s claims that he isn’t in Ohio for politics is hard to believe given the timing of the trip the day after President Trump actually delivered supplies to residents.

Trump has taken full advantage of the Biden administration’s incompetence on this issue. He has capitalized on their lackluster response and showcased what a true leader looks like. There is a reason why President Trump is dominating in recent polling, both Republican primary and general election polls. It is because America wants a leader again and President Trump’s actions in East Palestine showcased that, especially in contrast to Mayor Pete.
