Biden Admin Begs Service Members To Return After Discharging Them Over Covid-19 Vax Mandate

Throughout the Biden administration, the Department of Defense has struggled to entice more recruits into the armed forces as many Americans realize just how politicized the military has become and interest in potentially fighting overseas has waned. To ease the recruitment crisis, Defense officials have moved to attempt to relieve one of their worst blunders: mandating the COVID-19 vaccination.

Over the past week, a number of letters have gone out to former service members who were discharged from the armed forces for refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine. The letter encourages service members to go to the Army Discharge Review Board or the Army Board for Correction of Military Records to change their personal records.

The letter, signed by Brigadier General Hope C. Rampy of the U.S. Army Director of the Military Personnel Management Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, states, "As a result of the rescission of all current COVID-19 vaccination requirements, former Soldiers who were involuntarily separated for refusal to receive the COVID-19 vaccination may request a correction of their military records from either or both the Army Discharge Review Board (ADRB) or the Army Board for Correction of Military Records (ABCMR)."

The military has been struggling to promote the military to young Americans, with the U.S. Army missing their yearly goal to recruit 65,000 soldiers by 25 percent or 15,000, as reported by The Associated Press. The recruitment crisis has likely worsened as the Department of Defense has instituted Democrat priorities like paying for service members to receive abortions, pushing transgender ideology, and a host of other progressive priorities on service members.

Just last week, military officials threatened to kick service members out of the military if they attended a pro-Trump "patriot" rally. As previously reported by the D.C. Enquirer, Air Force leaders in North Dakota issued a warning text to service members at the Minot Air Force Base about the November 17th "Dakota Patriot Rally" that was set to be hosted by a pro-Trump speaker from Turning Point Action, a 501(c)(4) that supported President Trump's reelection efforts in 2020. The base's leaders also warned service members "that participation with groups such as Turning Point Action could jeopardize their continued service in the U.S. military."

"Leaders, please exercise caution if downtown this weekend," a text message sent out to base personnel read with an additional warning for service members to "be careful" and "reach out for any concerns" because some attendees "could be confrontational to military members." The text, which was exposed via an "Air Force amen/nco/snco" Facebook page, also described Turning Point Action as an "alt-right" organization despite the group's work in mainstream conservative politics since its founding in 2019.

As patriotic Americans continue to choose career paths outside of the armed forces, military leaders are panicking. Despite the recruitment crisis, they continue to push woke priorities in the armed forces, and it is once that virtue signaling is ended that Americans may come back to serve their country.
