The Navy’s Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) has gone all in on their far-left ideologies, hosting a community “Pride Ally Engagement” event that taught members how to use more inclusive language and “reflect on the existence of transgender, nonbinary, and intersex individuals.”
Breitbart reported on an email that was sent out to staff leaders of the ONI which stated, “As our understanding of gender and identity evolves, so does the language we use to be inclusive. Just as our language changed to acknowledge women’s presence in the workplace — for example, no longer using ‘men’ or ‘he’ as a default term to refer to everyone — our language continues to change to reflect the existence of transgender, nonbinary, and intersex individuals. Ally Engagement: Inclusive language (IC Pride).”
The event is put on to give “a starting point to understand how we can [not] only make our language more inclusive, but open to opportunities to be less exclusive.” This comes not long after the Navy received notable backlash for having a drag queen show take place on bases, as reported by the DC Enquirer.
The email was signed by ONI’s Chief Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Officer Ronald M. Rose, who went the extra mile by including “he/him” pronouns in his signature. Top enlisted sailors encouraged ONI staff to attend, with members like Master Chief T. Keith Hayden writing, “Team, See the attached ppt and the below email to find out more about the impending IC Pride Ally Engagement Event that is happening this week!”
The event is set to take place from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and is “completely voluntary,” according to follow-up emails.
Lawmakers are already beginning to apply pressure on the Navy for the LGBTQ agenda that is being pushed through, with ten Republican lawmakers, who are also Navy veterans, sending a letter demanding information on the ambassador program and how the Navy is attempting to overcome its record low recruitment, as reported by Breitbart.
In a time when conflict seems to be a growing threat in today's world, it’s concerning to see our military more concerned with pronouns and gender identity than the threats to our nation. It’s understandable that lawmakers would have such strong reactions to the complete waste of time and taxpayer money that the Navy has been investing into diversity seminars.
