New Details Emerge About Nashville Shooter – It Was ‘Calculated and Planned’

On Monday evening, Nashville Metro Police Department released new details about the mass shooting at Covenant Elementary School in Nashville, Tennessee.

The shooting led to the deaths of six people, three elderly staff members, and three nine-year-old children. 

According to the authorities, the shooter drove a Honda Fit to the school. Detectives later searched the vehicle and found writings from the female shooter which is in addition to a manifesto found at her apartment.

The shooter then shot down the doors of the school in order to get inside and proceeded to rampage through the building until police arrived.

Upon their arrival, they were met with gunfire from a second-floor window with two rifles and a handgun.

NASHVILLE MASS SHOOTER REPORTEDLY IDENTIFIED AS TRANSGENDER FORMER STUDENT

“The first call to 911 about shots being fired in the building came in at 10:13 a.m,” a press release noted. “Officers rushed to the campus, made entry, and began clearing the building. Shots were heard coming from the second level.”

“It was on the second floor, in a common area, that a team of officers encountered Hale shooting (she had been firing through a window at arriving police cars). Two members of an officer team fired on Hale and fatally wounded her,” it continued. “Those two officers are Officer Rex Englebert, a four-year MNPD veteran, and Officer Michael Collazo, a nine-year MNPD veteran.”

“Writings recovered from Hale revealed that her attack was calculated and planned,” the press release notes ominously.

“A search warrant executed at Hale’s Brightwood Avenue home resulted in the seizure of a sawed-off shotgun, a second shotgun, and other evidence,” MNPD noted.
