New Poll Shows Most Americans Are Not Watching The January 6 Hearings Very Closely

The January 6 Committee is an unjustified and authoritarian power-grab, intended to damage President Trump and his movement. It has no other goal. If the Commission were searching for truth, it would be far more wide-ranging than it currently is. It would also be truly bipartisan — having Republicans who are not obvious RINOs.

It would also center on Nancy Pelosi and what she knew leading up to the events that transpired on that fateful day. Americans have been asking that question for some time. But there is no evidence that the committee will cover that very reasonable concern or many of the other concerns fair-minded Americans have about what occurred. To press forward with these worries is not mere conspiracy theorizing.

Indeed, Americans deserve to have their questions answered. After all, Congress works for us! Until The January 6 Committee tries to assuage our doubts, most Americans will be uninterested in what the hearings truly say.

A new Rasmussen poll confirms such thinking. When asked how closely likely voters were following the January 6 hearings, likely voters responded as follows:

“A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 20% of Likely U.S. Voters say they’ll watch all the TV coverage of hearings by the special committee appointed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to investigate the so-called “J6” Capitol riot. Another 14% expect to watch most of the televised hearings, but 22% say they’ll only watch some of the hearings and 39% will watch none of the TV coverage. “

Those numbers are bad. Only 20 percent of likely voters will be glued to their TVs — watching every last second of the sham hearings. In fact, the only group who yearns to watch all the coverage, is, you guessed it, Democrats:

“Democrats are far more interested in the J6 hearings than other voters. Sixty percent (60%) of Democrats say they’ll watch all or most of the TV coverage of the hearings, but only 22% of Republicans and 21% of voters not affiliated with either major party will watch that much. Fifty-seven percent (57%) of Republicans and 47% of unaffiliated voters won’t watch any of the televised hearings.”

The Democrat playbook is not working. Americans are focused elsewhere — on the bread-and-butter issues like gas and inflation. Conservatives are surely winning in those areas, and that scares the Democrats to no end. 2022 will be a massive red wave for the Republican Party. Only Democrats, who still live in 2020, will be worried about the committee’s “findings”.
