New Poll: Most Americans Believe Joe Biden Was Involved In the 'Family Business'

After years of unremitting denials, a recent poll of the American people shows that a large majority believe that President Joe Biden did discuss business matters with his son Hunter and in fact lied to the nation.

As reported by Breitbart News, a June Harvard/HarrisX poll shows that sixty-six percent of voters believe that "Biden has discussed business with his son." Further, a fifty-five percent majority of voters also believe that the FBI is "not really investigating" the corruption allegations against Joe Biden.

The outlet recounted at least seven separate denials from Biden in an April 2022 report. Many of the denials came from then-White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, and Biden’s campaign spokesman Andrew Bates. However, the most egregious came from Biden himself.

In 2019, he told Fox News' Peter Doocy during his campaign, "I’ve never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings. Here’s what I know — I know Trump deserves to be investigated," only to deflect with insinuations about 45th President Donald Trump. "You should be looking at Trump. Trump’s doing this because he knows I’ll beat him like a drum."

Late in the presidential race, he said during a debate with Trump, "I have not taken a penny from any foreign source, ever, in my life,” a claim now refuted by FBI documentation uncovered by the GOP-led House Oversight Committee. Biden added in reference to his son's dubious role on the board of Ukrainian Energy firm Burisma that "Nothing was unethical."

“My son has no made money from China," he claimed, to be rebuked later by financial records subpoenaed by Congress. And yet again he deflected toward Trump: "The only guy who has made money from China was this guy."

According to Breitbart, House Oversight Committee Chair Rep. James Comer of Kentucky told reporters over the weekend as the polls came out that the panel is set to call additional witnesses in an ongoing inquiry into what he called the "Biden family influence-peddling schemes."

“We’re going to start bringing in key figures in the Biden family influence-peddling schemes for depositions, and I think we’re on the right track, even though we’re having to fight the FBI, fight the DOJ, fight the Democrats in Congress, and fight the mainstream media,” Comer told Mark Levin on Fox News Sunday.

As recently as June 14th, when Senator Chuck Grassley revealed that the FBI reportedly possesses 17 recordings of both Bidens kept as insurance by a top Burisman executive, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre answered with another denial.

"So the President spoke to this," she began. "I think he was shouted a question about this at the Thursday press conference.  And I’m just going to quote him and say, “It’s malarkey.”

As Dan Bongino noted, Biden didn't actually answer during that Thursday presser; he just shook his head and walked away silently.
