New Poll Shows Trump Blowing Biden Out of the Water With Biggest Lead to Date Amid Indictment

A recent poll from Rasmussen shows 45th President Donald Trump dominating Joe Biden in a prospective 2024 matchup as Biden struggles to maintain support amongst the American populous.

The poll, conducted just prior to Trump’s arraignment on Tuesday, has Trump beating Biden 47 percent to 40 percent, marking the largest lead Trump has had on the 80-year-old Democrat since he took office.

While Trump is enjoying a seven-point lead over his likely opponent, 11 percent of voters say they want a different candidate and two percent were unsure who they’d vote for, as reported by Breitbart.

The poll was conducted just prior to Trump’s unprecedented arraignment in Manhattan on Tuesday on frivolous felony charges that attempted to argue, on a shaky legal foundation, that Trump committed 34 counts of falsifying business records.

Making matters worse, and proving to Americans that the indictment being brought is simply political persecution, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) explained that he is only able to elevate these misdemeanor charges under normal circumstances to a felony because of an undisclosed crime that he believes Trump is covering up.

Americans see through the charade that it is, however, a trial is set to take place in January 2024 while Trump is running for another four years at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

One of the opponents that he will likely have to overcome, however, is Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) who is also polling well against Biden.

The Rasmussen poll found that the Florida governor led Biden 46 percent to 38 percent with 12 percent of respondents saying they would want someone else and four percent being undecided.

The poll was conducted on March 30, when news broke of Trump’s impending indictment, and on April 2 and 3, just a day before his arraignment. The survey was made up of 971 likely voters and has a three percent margin of error.

With President Trump’s massive lead over Biden, as well as his over 30 point lead over DeSantis in primary polling, it is apparent that the American people want Trump back in the White House for a second term starting in 2025.
