‘Invasion’: New Poll Suggests Americans Are Fed Up With Illegal Immigration

A new poll put out by Ipsos and NPR suggests Americans are increasingly fed up with the Biden administration’s handling of the border crisis, which the majority of Americans deem to be an “invasion.”

“Over half of American adults believe it is either completely or somewhat true that the U.S. is experiencing an invasion at the southern border, according to a new NPR/Ipsos poll. Moreover, half believe there is at least some truth to the view that migrants bringing fentanyl and other illegal drugs over the southern border are responsible for the increases of overdoses in the U.S.” the poll reads.

54 percent of Americans now believe there is an invasion at the Southern Border — including 43 percent of Democrats. That even Democrats are now increasingly accepting the reality of the situation at the Border is incredible but true all the same.

Shockingly, opposition to a great, big, beautiful border wall dropped from 65 percent to 42 percent from 2018 to 2022. This suggests Americans of all stripes are waking up to the Biden administration’s lack of action on the Southern Border.

While Trump sought to keep us safe with an infrastructure investment worth its weight in gold — a southern border wall which Democrats ferociously opposed — the Biden administration is too busy investing its time and efforts into hyper-leftist and borderline socialist policy initiatives like the “Inflation Reduction Act,” improperly so-called.

To be sure, Americans are concerned about the inflation rate — 45 percent of Americans list it as the most important issue affecting us today according to the poll. But Americans recognize the Biden Administration is no friend to their pocketbooks.

It also seems Americans are coming around to many of Trump’s famous moves on immigration — including his opposition to DACA. While 65 percent of Americans were in favor of DACA in 2018, only 51 percent of Americans are now in favor of the Obama-era executive action, which provided amnesty for children brought into this country illegally.

Americans love their country and because they love their country, they love their borders, which secure and help solidify their national identity. If nations cease to have and enforce their borders, they cease to be a country at all. A red wave is coming, and an increased push to protect that which is sacred will be at the forefront of this new MAGA movement to change our country for the better.
