‘Oh My God’: Mika Brzezinski Practically Comes Apart At The Seams After Listening To Undecided Voter Focus Group

MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski expressed anxiety Friday after hearing from a largely undecided Gen Z voter panel featured on “Morning Joe.”

The panel included one voter who said he is planning to write in a candidate and another saying she needs “more research” before choosing who to support in November. Brzezinski immediately took a deep breath following a clip of the panel, expressed gratitude to the participants and appeared to feign tears.

“Okay, so first of all, we thank everybody for participating. Absolutely no bad things to say about people who participate in these conversations. We thank you so much,” Brzezinski said as she seemed to pretend to cry. “But does anybody at this table need to take a deep breath? Because I do. I just do.”

“We’ve been listening to undecideds for weeks on 2WAY … It’s really hard to believe that there are still people who might vote third party or try to write in,” 2WAY host Lauren leader responded. “It’s just such a lack of understanding about the stakes and about why that’s just throwing your vote away.”

Brzezinski then exclaimed, “Oh my God. Ugh.”

The MSNBC host later took another deep breath as The New York Times’ Mara Gay discussed the persistence of undecided voters.

Trump currently has slim advantages over Harris in six of the top seven swing-states, with the vice president only leading by 0.3% in Wisconsin, according to the RealClearPolling averages.

CNN panelists on Wednesday said Democrats are experiencing increased “anxiety” about Harris’ prospects against Trump amid their neck and neck race. Former President Barack Obama’s chief campaign strategist David Axelrod on Thursday noted Democrats are “right to be concerned” about Harris’ chances and asserted he thinks “the vibe right now isn’t great.”

CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten on Friday broke down why Harris’ current polling is causing worry for Democrats regarding her chances against Trump in November. He noted Harris has only a one-point lead in his aggregated data in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, which is a smaller margin than three weeks ago and “considerably worse” than the leads President Joe Biden and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton held over Trump in 2016 and 2020.

“This is the type of thing that, at least in the public polling, makes Democrats worry,” Enten said. “And I think that the public polling in this case is reflected in some of that internal polling, some of that reporting that suggests that these Great Lake battleground states have certainly tightened a lot where at this point they are way too close to call.”

Journalist Mark Halperin asserted on Tuesday that Harris’ trajectory to win battleground states is declining based on the latest private polling he has observed.
