After Disgraceful Stunt, California Highway Patrol Foundation Revokes Paul Pelosi’s Membership

Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi, was arrested back in May following a car crash in which he was under the influence of alcohol. His BAC was found to be at .082 percent, according to Politico.

In a video obtained by FOX News, police camera footage caught Pelosi attempting to pass the sobriety test following the car crash. As seen in the footage, the arresting officer asks, “are you sure you can complete the test?”

He then goes on to explain to Pelosi that he’s in no condition to even take the sobriety test, saying, “Based on what I’m seeing I don’t feel comfortable having you perform the test.”

Earlier this week, he pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. While Nancy Pelosi claims that “nobody is above the law” when it comes to Former President Donald Trump, the same should be true for her husband.

Paul Pelosi was sentenced to five days in jail, of which he served two and was given credit and community service for the remainder of the pitiful sentence, according to Politico. He was also fined $7,000 and given 3 years of probation.

If his pitiful sentence wasn’t enough of a slap in the face to hard-working Americans, his display of entitlement following his crash certainly is. Proceeding the crash in which one person was injured, Pelosi flashed his California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation membership card to the arresting officer while pulling out his driver’s license, according to FOX News.

While the intent of this action is unknown, one can speculate as to the reason Pelosi may have done that. Regardless, a spokesperson for CHP 11-99 told FOX News, “After evaluating the events that [led] to Mr. Pelosi’s arrest and conviction, we are revoking Mr. Pelosi’s lifetime membership with the CHP 11-99 Foundation effective immediately.”

“The mere presentation of his 11-99 Foundation identification credentials to law enforcement made it appear that he was presenting them for preferential treatment whether that was the case or not, which violates the terms and conditions he agreed to on his membership application,” the spokesperson explained.

The revoking of Paul Pelosi’s membership card sends a strong message to the Pelosi family. Apparently, special privilege isn’t allowed in the California Highway Patrol Association.
