'Hijacked And Corrupted By Feminazis': Piers Morgan Rips Into Barbie Movie For It's Negative Adaptation Of Men

On Monday, cable news host Piers Morgan wrote a scathing review of the summer blockbuster ‘Barbie.’ The television personality called out the movie for its extremely negative adaptation of men in the movie, noting how if a movie was made that treated women the way that ‘Barbie’ treats men it would meet massive outrage.

Morgan wrote in his New York Post opinion piece about while being a member of the patriarchy himself, he and many other people likely don’t even understand what modern-day feminists have made the idea to be.

He discussed how the meaning of the word traces back to an understanding of having men as the head of households and organizations but adds the term has been “hijacked and corrupted by feminazis to suggest that every aspect of life and society is dominated by powerful, privileged males over subjugated, underprivileged females.”

According to Morgan, ‘Barbie’ goes all in on this understanding, pushing the idea that the only way to end the patriarchal state of the world is to go to the complete opposite end and have women reign over everything. The English broadcaster attacked this idea, calling it “a ridiculously misandrist message” that is being shared with the millions of people watching ‘Barbie.’

He summarizes the movie as such: “Barbie, played by Margot Robbie, exists in Barbie-land with myriad other Barbies who tick every possible woke virtue-signaling box — there’s a trans Barbie, a Barbie in a wheelchair, and President Barbie is a black woman. This is a feminist Utopia where the Barbies are all-powerful and the Kens, led by Ryan Gosling, are a bunch of second-class, useless halfwits.”

“Then Barbie and Ken are transported to the supposed 'real world,' where, predictably, they discover that it’s all great for men and terrible for women,” he continues. “Ken quickly embraces the despicable ‘patriarchy’ with breathless bro enthusiasm and becomes an entitled, arrogant, macho douchebag. Poor Barbie, meanwhile, instantly becomes an objectified, imperiled, vulnerable victim of men who leer at her and treat her with horrible disrespect.”

Piers Morgan noted how in contrast to the anti-woman world that is painted by the ‘Barbie’ movie, the real world “is chock-full of confident, high-achieving women who would laugh at such a derisory mischaracterization of their status in life.” He adds that by making one world starkly for men and the other starkly for women, it only incentivizes men to support the anti-women scenario depicted as the real world.

To further attack the blind, one-sided view of the world painted in Barbie, Morgan references the review done by The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro where he discussed the depiction of Mattel’s all-male boardroom as intentionally deceptive. In contrast to the movie, the actual board of Mattel features five women on its twelve-person board and was headed by Ruth Handler, the maker of Barbie, for 30 years.

For the cherry on top, Morgan talked about how the casting of Barbie as Margot Robbie goes against so much of the pro-women message that was pushed by the ‘Barbie’ movie. When they have to cast someone who he called “exceptionally beautiful” for the role, it goes against their message that women don’t need to rely on their looks for success.

The constant backward messaging of the movie created an overall pointless message that only works to worsen misunderstandings in modern society. Piers ends the article noting that if he “made a movie mocking women as useless dunderheads, constantly attacking ‘the matriarchy,’ and depicting all things feminist as toxic bulls–t, I wouldn’t just be canceled, I’d be executed.”

Morgan’s opinion perfectly summarizes all the glaring issues that the Barbie movie suffers from. The movie cannot hope to have a hyper, pro-feminism stance while simultaneously taking every opportunity to drag men down. It removes feminism from being equality and changes the message to attempting to make women more than men, something that of course men would fight back against.
