On Monday, the House Oversight Committee, House Judiciary Committee, and House Ways and Means Committee concluded, in a 292-page final report, that President Joe Biden "abused his office" and committed "impeachable offenses" to enrich his family and further the Biden influence peddling scheme.
The report outlines how the Biden family received $27 million from 2014 to the present through shell companies from various foreign entities and individuals in Ukraine, China, Russia, Romania, and Kazakhstan. The report alleges that the Biden family then used these proceeds to transfer hundreds of thousands of dollars to President Biden by claiming that they were repaying personal loans despite no evidence proving the claim.
"First and foremost, overwhelming evidence demonstrates that President Biden participated in a conspiracy to monetize his office of public trust to enrich his family," the report explains. "Among other aspects of this conspiracy, the Biden family and their business associates received tens of millions of dollars from foreign interests by leading those interests to believe that such payments would provide them access to and influence with President Biden."
The House Republicans' executive summary explains that the Biden family "went to great lengths" to hide the transfer of foreign money to their bank accounts by breaking up large quantities of funds across multiple transactions through various "intermediate entities." Biden's relatives, particularly Hunter Biden, used their connection to then-Vice President Joe Biden to receive "favorable outcomes" in business and legal proceedings. To bring about these business deals for his family, Biden routinely attended dinners or spoke to business leaders when Hunter Biden put his father on speakerphone during business meetings.
The report also alleges that the Biden family obtained over $8 million in loans from Democratic backers by leveraging Biden's position as vice president during the Obama administration. "Millions of dollars in loans have not been repaid and the paperwork supporting many of the loans does not exist and has not been produced to the Committees. This raises serious questions about whether these funds were provided as gifts disguised as loans," the report states.
"President Biden's participation in this conspiracy to enrich his family constitutes impeachable conduct," the report says. "By monetizing the Vice Presidency for his family's benefit, he abused his office of public trust, placing the welfare of his family ahead of the welfare of the United States. He also put foreign interests ahead of the interests of the American people."
In response to the report, White House spokesman Sharon Yang said in a statement, "This failed stunt will only be remembered for how it became an embarrassment that their own members distanced themselves from as they only managed to turn up evidence that refuted their false and baseless conspiracy theories."
