President Trump Announces Texas Leadership Team, See Who Will Be Fighting For Trump

On Saturday, 45th President and leading Republican presidential contender Donald Trump announced his ‘Texas Leadership Team.’

The group, made up of 16 former or current Texas lawmakers, will work with grassroots activists to ensure that Trump wins the Texas Republican primary on March 5th, 2024.

The team consists of Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, Attorney General Ken Paxton, Congressman Ronny Jackson, Congressman Troy Nehls, Congressman Wesley Hunt, Congressman Michael Burgess, Congressman Pete Sessions, Congressman John Carter, Congressman Randy Weber, Congressman Roger Williams, Congressman Brian Babin, Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, Congressman Pat Fallon, Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham, Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller, and former Congresswoman Mayra Flores.

In response to being placed on the leadership team, Rep. Ronny Jackson wrote, “I’m PROUD to be on President Trump’s Texas Leadership Team. President Trump is going WIN BIG not just in Texas, but ACROSS AMERICA. We’re going to TAKE BACK our country!! Go to http://ronnyjacksontx.com to help us WIN TEXAS!!”

“Thank you [Donald Trump] for selecting me for your Texas Leadership Team! President Trump loves this country more than anyone I know, and I’m proud to support his re-election as the 47th President,” wrote Rep. Troy Nehls. “Let’s take our country back in 2024!”

TEXAS LOVES TRUMP: TRUMP MASSIVELY OVERFLOWS WACO RALLY WITH THOUSANDS OF SUPPORTERS

Notably, Trump’s team does not include Gov. Greg Abbott nor Sens. Ted Cruz and John Cornyn.

The announcement of the leadership team came just before his first 2024 presidential campaign rally in Waco, Texas.

The rally saw thousands of supporters come to Waco Regional Airport to hear from the president and comes after a hectic week in which many worried that Trump would be indicted by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D).

Despite the witch hunt from the D.A., Trump seemed in good spirits and ready to kick off his campaign by invigorating the grassroots. Americans look forward to more rallies across the country in the coming months as the 2024 presidential campaign heats up.
