Rep. Comer: Obama 'Knew About' Biden Family Business — 'That’s Why Obama Didn’t Want Joe Biden To Run'

Chairman of the House Oversight Committee James Comer (R-KY) gave voice to a feeling many conservatives have had for years with Lou Dobbs on the 'Great America Show' Friday. Comer told Dobbs that former President Barack Obama must have known about the disturbing influence-peddling enterprises of the Biden family in China and Eastern Europe, explaining why he kept the Delaware family at arm's length.

According to Breitbart News, Comer told Dobbs and his audience during the Friday broadcast: "I believe, Lou, that it’s because he knew what Joe Biden was doing the last year of his vice presidency."
 

“He knew his son [Hunter Biden] was no good, and he knew this was nothing but a political liability not just for our country, not just for the democrat party, but for Obama’s legacy,” Comer explained. “Because a lot of this happened during the Obama administration.”

Comer and the House Oversight Committee revealed devastating evidence Wednesday that over the course of 2015-2017, the Biden family had raked in an excess of $10 million from obscure business deals in which no traceable goods or services changed hands across over twenty different shady business entities.
 
As reported by Townhall, Comer told the American people, "While Vice President Biden was lecturing Romania on anti-corruption policy, in reality, he was a walking billboard for his son and family to collect money."

Comer also told Dobbs that he believes Obama's foreknowledge of the Biden family's corruption led him to initially oppose his former vice president's 2020 candidacy. He noted, "So, I think that’s why Obama didn’t want Joe Biden to run for president. I think they knew about this."

The Kentucky Republican added, "And remember, a lot of these coverups would have happened during the Obama administration with Obama appointees in these deep state bureaucracies." He suggested that the establishment media should pose the question to Obama. 

"This would be a great question for Obama: Were you aware of what was going on with Joe Biden with respect to foreign policy and some of these ragtag countries around the world?"
