REPORT: Thousands Of Protestors Outside Dodgers Stadium — 'Catholics have shut down the main entrance'

In response to the LA Dodger's decision to host the so-called "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence" during their "Pride Night" game, reports have come in that protestors numbering in the thousands have descended upon Dodgers Stadium Friday evening.

The Post Millennials' Savannah Hernandez reported from the scene that "Thousands of Catholics have shut down the main entrance to Dodger Stadium on Vin Scully avenue in protest of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence being honored tonight. They are now lining the sidewalks and have taken over the entire block"

An hour earlier Hernandez reported the protestors marching toward the front of the stadium chanting "Save Our Children!" she added,

"Catholic organizers shared they wanted to make a stand for Christ where everyone could see them."

Fox News reported that the protest was organized by Catholics for Catholics citing an article posted on the organization's website that advised everyone was "welcome to join" what they describe as "thousands of Catholics, Christians, and people of faith for a prayerful procession at Dodger Stadium on Friday, June 16, 2023, in reparations for offenses committed against Jesus Christ and all Christians."

"All are welcome to join this event in reparation for the offenses committed against our Lord Jesus Christ and against all Christians by 'The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence,'" the article added.

The event was live-streamed by Catholics for Catholics and The Church Militant, an apostolic organization out of Detroit, MI.

A Jewish Rabbi in attendance and interviewed by Hernandez for Turning Point USA told the reporter, "If you are anti-Catholic, you’re anti-religion, you’re anti-God, I got a problem with that."

"I love everyone... Anyone who wants to come in and support the Dodgers, I'm all in, we're all in," Dodgers Manager Dave Roberts told the press according to ABC7

The Dodgers initially had withdrawn the drag group's invitation on May 5th only to reverse the decision after pressure from local politicians and LGBTQ+ activists, apologizing and asking the group to join the event.

A representative of the drag group claimed, "The idea of being a fake nun is also a little problematic, mostly because we do take vows of service to the LGBTQ community for nonprofit work and it is the kind of vow that you take for the rest of your life, so it is very similar to the kind of care work a nun would do," according to the news outlet.

Republican Senator Marco Rubio of Florida gave voice to many Catholics objections to the group's display describing it as an affront to ordained nuns and a lewd mockery of Christianity.

"The Dodgers are honoring an anti-Catholic hate group as community heroes, but they're afraid of airing an ad showing these so-called sisters out in the community," Rubio told Fox News.

"It tells you everything you need to know about the Dodgers, Major League Baseball, and the media. They are no longer demanding tolerance, they now promote intolerance and even hatred of Christianity."

The story is ongoing and will be addressed by DC Enquirer in subsequent articles if additional developments arise.
