WATCH: Riley Gaines Gives Harrowing Testimony About Her Experience With Transgender Athletes - 'We Could Do Nothing About It'

On Tuesday, former collegiate NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines had to testify about her experiences being exposed to male genitalia in the female locker rooms due to the former inclusion of transgender swimmers in programs.

Gaines famously tied against transgender swimmer Lia Thomas in the NCAA women’s final last year. The former swimmer has since become a major feminist activist. Gaines has been pointing to the division between modern-day feminism which supports transgender inclusion that works against women, and the other sect which is entirely concerned with genuine biological women, as previously reported by the DC Enquirer.

The now-feminist advocate testified on Capitol Hill about her negative experiences of being forced to participate with men in women’s sporting events.

Gaines spoke on how she was exposed to the male genitalia, saying, “A six-foot-four male walks in, disrobes, and is fully intact with male genitalia while we’re simultaneously undressing. As 18 to 22 girls, we could do nothing about it. I actually immediately left the locker room and went to one of the officials on the pool deck and I asked them ‘How is this allowed to happen? I mean I understand the guidelines for the competition, but what are the guidelines for the locker room?’”

“And he looks at me and word for word says ‘Oh, we actually got around this by making the lockers unisex, so it’s not a big deal,’” the former swimmer recounted. Gaines pointed out how the changes to the locker rooms would now permit not just transsexuals to enter the locker room, but also any biological male in general to enter.

Gaines brought up how Lia Thomas’ teammates were exposed to male genitalia every day and complained to the administration of their school, they were told, “‘If you feel uncomfortable seeing male genitalia, here’s some counseling resources you should seek.’”

The way that they were forced to see biological males naked as well as expose their nude bodies to biological men bothered the female swimmers immensely. “The overwhelming majority of us girls felt so uncomfortable,” the advocate stated. “We felt betrayed. We felt belittled. It’s of course in the locker room especially. It’s awkward, it’s embarrassing. Again, it’s this feeling of– the best word to describe it is traumatic.”

Gaines is testifying before Congress about the increasing violence among left-leaning protestors, according to her Twitter. Last month, the women’s advocate was held hostage at San Francisco State University for speaking about her experience on the liberal campus, per Fox News.

The former swimmer brings to light the problems with forcing inclusivity without the concerns of everyone. No system can account for the needs of everyone, and it’s entirely unjust to sacrifice the many for the few.
