RINO Romney Seems to Suggest He Knows His Reelection Chances Are Small, Clearly Has Uncertain Future in Politics

Utah Senator Mitt Romney was once a beloved member of the Republican Party. The Republican Candidate in the 2012 election, Romney could have effectively channeled the energy of the Tea Party movement to beat one of the most controversial US Presidents in history — Barrack Obama. Indeed, Conservatives had generally considered President Obama the worst President (or at least one of the worst Presidents) in US history to that point, comparable to Joe Biden today.

All in all, Romney lost a very winnable election. He could not channel the energy of the American public, especially in the rust-belt states.  As President Trump said:

“The last election should have been won, except Romney choked like a dog. He choked. He went, ‘I can’t breathe!'”

And

“He’s a choke artist. He’s an absolute –– and I started hitting him so hard. In fact, people said, ‘Why’d you hit him so hard?’ Because we cannot take another loss”

These are harsh words, but we understand why President Trump said them. From 2008 to 2016, Republicans had not done much winning. But headed into 2024, we have been winning more often than not. President Trump brought back a winning mentality to the Republican Party.

Could RINOs like Romney, who have consistently opposed the energy of the new movement, be done with politics? Speculation has mounted.

Romney was forced to face the fact that his future is uncertain. And he said the following to The Hill when asked about a 2024 run:

“I’m going to cross that bridge down the road. I haven’t given a lot of attention yet”

Romney seems to be aware that his political future is very contingent upon getting the Republican Party nomination. But given Trump’s popularity in Utah, it seems unlikely that an Anti-Trumper like Romney could gain the nomination.

When you wage war against the Former President and his America First policies and praise Joe Biden and Kamala Harris (and their despicable characters) again and again, you are likely to make a few enemies in your ranks.

In 2022, we know better — we can no longer lend our support to RINOs. The only way to save America is to fight for American values. We cannot support those who vote to confirm Marxist-adjacent SCOTUS nominees. America is too valuable of a dream to waste.
