Election-Denier and Racy Romance Novel Author, Stacey Abrams Pushes Bizarre New Conspiracy Theory

Mothers and doctors are astonished at the uneducated, and foolish claim made this week by Democrat Stacey Abrams when she stated there is “no such thing” as a 6-week human fetal heartbeat. Instead, she says it is nothing more than a “manufactured sound.”

She spoke at an event in Atlanta on Tuesday before a group of college students at the Ray Charles Performing Arts Center, hosted by Morehouse College and Spelman College Democrats.

“There is no such thing as a heartbeat at six weeks. It is a manufactured sound designed to convince people that men have a right to take control of a woman’s body,” she claimed. She elaborated, saying that the existence of a “fetal heartbeat” was “medically false” and “biologically a lie.”

It seems Abrams never took a biology or sex education class in school.

Dr. Marc Seigel called Abrams’ comments “outrageous.” He further explained the facts which disputes her statement that it is “manufactured sound” as quoted by a story published by MSN. “The fetal ultrasound was invented in 1958 by Dr. Ian Donald in Scotland, an obstetrician who said women may see in vitro, they may see a forming fetus and decide not to have an abortion. … It’s so ridiculous that she said that.”

Planned Parenthood has recently edited its own website, which as recent as July stated “that within the fifth or sixth week of development ‘a very basic beating heart and circulatory system develop.’ Now the site says there is “cardiac activity,” according to a story published by FOX News.

For a woman who was pro-life up until she attended college, Abrams continues to pander to the liberal abortion agenda. Abrams is the daughter of two retired United Methodist pastors.

One woman reacted to Abrams’ claim in a post on Twitter. “Hearing my babies (sic) heartbeats at 6 weeks is hands down of the most exciting, liberating and most beautiful moments of my entire life. Hands down.”

Mount Sanai explains the development and existence of a baby’s heart in the womb in the sixth to seventh weeks. “Baby’s heart continues to grow and now beats at a regular rhythm. This can be seen by vaginal ultrasound.” It’s also during this time that the brain of a human fetus forms into five different areas, and the eyes and ears begin to take shape. The American Pregnancy Association agrees that a fetal heartbeat can be detected between 5 ½ and 6 ½ weeks.

So much for a scientific explanation. These days the left will shout “believe the science,” but only if such arguments support their case.

Abrams is getting backlash from many, with Dr. Kelli Ward, chairwoman of the Arizona GOP, posting, “This woman not only again proves she is a total idiot or a liar (or both), but also shows how gullible her supporters are.”

In another post on Twitter, sports commentator Michele Tafoya posted, “So, @staceyabrams…When my (male) doctors told me they could no longer hear my baby’s heartbeat…as I lost pregnancy after pregnancy…Was that fake, too? Did they manufacture the absence of my baby’s heartbeat in order to force me to terminate the pregnancy?”

In her quest to win the Georgia governor’s race, it appears Abrams is now making up the science in order to gain support from abortion supporters – which could be called a case of the blind leading the blind.
