Stephen King ROASTED On Twitter By Ted Cruz After Attempting To Insult The Texas Senator

Famous author and Twitter complainer Stephen King was shown exactly why he wasn’t meant for politics after getting blasted by Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) following snarky comments made towards the Texan. 

The entire exchange took place over Twitter, where Cruz shared a video of himself appearing on Fox News to discuss the border. His post read, “I spend a lot of time at the southern border. I’ve spent a lot of time with our border patrol agents. It’s never been remotely this bad. This is an invasion & our families are less safe because Joe Biden is president."

King must have thought this was the perfect opportunity to get in one of his signature snarky quips, retweeting Cruz’s tweet and adding, “You’ve also spent a lot of time in Cancun. That’s pretty south, right?”

The Texas senator had no interest in taking the insult sitting down, firing right back at King with a much more concrete comment than King’s roundabout insult.

“Multi-millionaire Leftist @StephenKing sits in his mansion in Maine and laughs at the kids being abused & the women being sexually assaulted on our Southern border,” Cruz wrote in response. “He doesn’t give a damn about their suffering—or about the 853 migrants who died last year or the 100k Americans who died of drug overdoses. Nope. What does he want to talk about? Cancun.”

The original Fox News segment discussed the massive 125 people on the Terror Watch List that have crossed the southern border during the 2023 fiscal year. It also noted the comparison that in 2022 only 93 crossed and an even smaller 15 in 2021 and three in 2020.

King wasn’t too happy that he got demolished in front of everyone on Twitter, so he made another reply, writing, “You’re worth three mil yourself, Teddy. Guess you can go to Cancun pretty much whenever you want. How are your constituents doing?”

Once again, Cruz came with cannons loaded, firing back with, “Am worth more than that (as the son of a penniless immigrant), but I gladly took a 90% pay cut to fight every day for 30 million Texans. Why does @StephenKing ignore EVERY WORD I said about the people hurt by the #BidenBorderCrisis? Because rich Hollywood liberals simply don’t give a damn about the people their policies hurt.”

The award-winning author couldn’t use his massive writing experience to make a response to that tweet, having currently stayed silent since their public discussion.

King has long been a hyper-liberal agenda pusher on social media, constantly blasting members of the right-wing for any reason that he can conceive. He frequently puts out such intellectual tweets like “In America it’s legal to own an AR-15 but illegal for a woman’s right to choose. Wow,” and “It’s not new, it’s propaganda,” when retweeting a Fox News host’s tweet.

It seems that ol’ Stephen should really be leaving the politics to the politicians as he’s unlikely to witness nearly the success he did in writing based on his delusional takes and abysmal debating skills.
