Streaming Pioneer Glenn Beck Offers Hopeful Message To Tucker Carlson – ‘I Can’t Wait To See What You Do’

Tucker Carlson’s departure from his perch atop the rating chart for the 8 o’clock hour on Fox News is reminiscent of the departure of another conservative personality. The 2011 exit of Glenn Beck from the network bears some similarities.

Beck would go on to create what is now the groundbreaking Blaze Media, formed from a merger of The Blaze (launched as GBTV) and CRTV. The one-time king of 5 PM, Beck chose to leave Fox News and became the first political pundit to create his own streaming service. At the time, the only live-streaming network available was Major League Baseball.

Having some experience in the area of jumping from the relative calm of the Fox News pool to the maelstrom of launching his own online streaming network, Beck had a few words of advice for Carlson and posted them to a lengthy Twitter thread.

Beck wrote,

“The Morning after I left #FoxNews was the most exciting and frightening day of my career. Even though by the end of the week we would have 300k subs – only MLB had a live streaming network and everyone said it couldn’t be done .. (cont)#TuckerCarlson

2. I knew a time was coming when the network would need talent more than talent needed them, but 2011 wasn’t it … yet. 12 years later, I am guessing that #tucker feels much like I did. Yet his timing is perfect. (Con’t)

3. #Tucker, everything will work for His benefit. You are too smart to legitimately worry. Millions are standing behind you. I am one of them. What you choose to do next could make all the difference in our country’s next chapter. I can’t wait to see what you do.

4. And for those who suggest #tuckerattheBlaze, YES. We are all for it. We have the money and experience plus, Blaze has zero content interference, we have partners not employees and together, corrupt DC/Pharma/Military/Banking/EDU would need asbestos suits, as the Fire of Righteousness would be an epic Blaze.”

GLENN BECK WEIGHS IN ON TUCKER CARLSON DEPARTURE, SAYS IT WAS A ‘SUICIDAL MOVE FOR FOX’

Beck and Blaze Media have openly stated that they, alongside other conservative media outlets, would welcome Carlson to join their network.
