BREAKING: Supreme Court Rejects Appeal By Former Trump Advisor Peter Navarro Amid Prison Sentence

On Monday, former Trump advisor Peter Navarro, currently serving a four-month prison sentence in Florida, received terrible news from the Supreme Court after the justices denied his appeal. Navarro, who served in the Trump White House as an assistant to the president on trade and manufacturing policy, faced legal consequences after defying a subpoena from the House Select Committee on January 6th. Navarro has repeatedly argued that executive privilege allowed him to defy the congressional subpoena.

The Supreme Court's rejection of the former Trump aide's motion isn't the first time that the justices have rejected him. Navarro attempted to appeal his decision in a last-minute appeal to the high court when he turned himself in at the Federal Bureau of Prisons facility in Miami in March; however, Chief Justice John Roberts denied him.

Before he turned himself in, Navarro told reporters that his persecution was unprecedented and that he was justified in defying the subpoena. "Let's talk about some facts here. I am the first senior White House advisor in the history of our Republic that has ever been charged with this alleged crime. I say allegedly because, for hundreds of years, this has not been a crime. For 50 years, the Department of Justice has maintained the principle of absolute testimonial immunity, and it was only in my case that somehow that has changed," he said. "I will walk proudly in there to do my time. I will gather strength from this: Donald John Trump is the nominee."

President Trump had previously commented on the charges against his former advisor, writing on Truth Social last year, "I can't believe that these Fascist Monsters have so viciously gone after the great Peter Navarro for defying the totally partisan January 6th Unselect Committee of political Hacks and Thugs, who refused to go after Crazy Nancy Pelosi, and the reasons she and the Mayor of D.C. REJECTED 10,000 soldiers, which would have easily stopped any future security problem. His testimony wouldn't have mattered, anyway, because the "Committee" QUICKLY and ILLEGALLY DELETED & DESTROYED ALL EVIDENCE & FINDINGS!"

"There was MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, evidence and findings that the Unselect Committee DID NOT WANT SEEN," Trump continued. "This deleted and destroyed evidence is a big part of my defense, and the defense of many others. They should be the ones who are prosecuted, not Peter Navarro who, by the way, was single greatest trade negotiator against China, who paid the U.S. hundreds of billions of dollars during the Trump Administration (never paid ten cents before us!). Only China is celebrating the Navarro conviction!"

"God Bless Great American Trade Negotiator & Patriot, Peter Navarro," Trump added. "He brought billions of dollars into our Country, and now the lunatic Marxists & Fascists want him in jail because of the Unselect Committee of political Hacks and Thugs. In the end, it will all work out, and we will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"
