'The Best Performance...In Two Generations': Trump Shocks CNN With Best Numbers For A Republican In 60 Years Among Key Demographic For Biden

In a recent CNN broadcast, CNN Data Reporter Harry Enten revealed presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump's shocking polling numbers, which show unprecedented support for a Republican candidate among the black community. According to the poll's breakdown, Trump has the support of 22 percent of the African American community compared to only receiving nine percent of the vote in 2020. In contrast, Biden only has 69 percent support, according to the polls, compared to the 81 percent support he received four years ago.

"He has seen more than a doubling in his support among African Americans," Enten said. "My goodness gracious, if this were held through the general election, and obviously we are still months away, this would be by far the best performance for a Republican among Black voters in a generation of two generations. Probably since 1960 [with] Richard Nixon against John F. Kennedy. That's how long we are really talking about when we are looking at this margin here. This could be a truly historic margin. It is quite the troubling sign for the Biden campaign."

Trump's historic increase in support from the black community is a testament to his America First policies that saw significant economic growth, low unemployment, and low inflation from the time he took office till the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

According to a recent NYT/Siena College poll, Trump has a double-digit lead in Nevada, defeating Biden by 13 points if the election were held today. The other states in the Sun Belt are just as bad for the Biden campaign, with Trump having a dominant lead of nine in Georgia and six in Arizona. In the Rust Belt, a part of the country that Democrats need to retain the presidency, Trump is still beating Biden in a one-on-one matchup, but within the poll's margin of error. The survey found that Trump beat Biden by three points in Pennsylvania and one point in Wisconsin, while Biden had a narrow lead of one percent in Michigan.

"Frankly, for the Joe Biden campaign, these numbers are an absolute disaster," the CNN data journalist said. "The smallest lead is in Arizona for Donald Trump. He's up six. Look at this: nine in Georgia, 13 in Nevada. My goodness, gracious. My God. That is a huge lead. No Democrat has lost that state since John Kerry lost it back in 2004. How about these Great Lake battleground states."
