The Daily Wire's Hit New Comedy Reaches Top Spot In Streaming

On Tuesday, The Daily Wire's hit new comedy film 'Lady Ballers' reached the top spot for streaming in the United States, according to Rotten Tomatoes, after the film debuted on Friday to rave reviews. The film currently enjoys a 92 percent audience score on the movie review website.

As reported by The Daily Wire, CEO Jeremy Boering noted that the film had one of the most successful launch days in the conservative company's history. "Thank you to everyone who helped give Lady Ballers the biggest launch in [Daily Wire Plus] history," he wrote on X/Twitter. "Best launch day for new subs. Best launch day for reviews (97% on Rotten Tomatoes). And the online buzz is off the charts."

The film was launched just a week prior to its debut at the beginning of December, and its stunning success shows the ability of conservative companies to create conservative content for a wide audience. "Hollywood won't make a movie about how laughably absurd it is that we now allow grown men to call themselves women and then dominate women's sports," Daily Wire CEO Jeremy Boering wrote on X/Twitter. "So we did." The film features the various hosts from The Daily Wire, including Jeremy Boering, Matt Walsh, Ben Shapiro, Michael Knowles, Brett Cooper, Jake and Blain Crain, David Cone, and Andrew Klavan. The trailer also features clips with former college swimmer and current activist Riley Gaines, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), comedian Tyler Fischer, Billie Rae Brandt, and Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon.

"In a world where women's sports is being trans-formed, The Daily Wire calls foul with the most triggering comedy of the year," the film's description reads. "A once-great coach is on a hilarious journey back to victory by reuniting his former high school championship basketball team, but this time, he's challenging them to play like never before – like a girl."

"The only thing happening in our culture more absurd and hilarious than men calling themselves women and then dominating women's sports is that the 'speak truth to power' set on the left not only won't make fun of it, they won't even acknowledge it's a joke," Boreing explained, per The Daily Wire. "This movie is for the women who have trained their entire lives only to be beaten at their sport by a man who couldn't win at his, the majority of Americans who find the whole idea of men in women's sports to be objectively wrong, and anyone who misses comedy – which the woke left destroyed on their ascent to cultural primacy."
