'The Deep State is The Greatest Threat': Conservatives React To Trump's Expected Indictment By Special Counsel Jack Smith

On Tuesday morning, conservatives across social media reacted to the news that leading Republican presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump announced that he will likely be indicted by the end of the week by Biden DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith in the case into January 6th.

Rogan O'Handley, who goes by DC Draino online, announced the news to his followers, writing, "Yes, the same J6 where national guard troops were rejected by Democrats, where undercover FBI sources and DC PD officers were in the crowds, where Pelosi secretly worked to lower security measures, and where police launched flashbangs and tear gas into the peaceful crowds."

"The DOJ is now going indict the President who fought against fraudulent elections while they protect the crackhead, Ukrainian bribe family in the White House," the influencer wrote. "The Deep State is the greatest threat to the American people and we are sadly reminded today why that is true. They must be abolished down to the root."

Others chimed in, explaining that the expected indictment is meant to "break your will." "The intent is to demoralize you," wrote user Johnny Maga. "They want to break your will, make an example out of Trump But we’re not settling for any regime-approved candidates. Choosing anybody other than Trump is a form of surrender."

"If you think we live in a Constitutional Republic anymore, it’s time to wake up," explained Joey Mannarino alongside a lengthy rant. "We are living through the government our founders warned us about."

"WITCH HUNT! The Biden Regime is trying to arrest [Donald Trump] for a THIRD TIME!" Alex Bruesewitz explained.

"They are indicting the President who would stop the war while they are stealing your tax dollars for their corrupt buddies," wrote another user. "Wake up."

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Trump announced that he had received a target letter from Jack Smith on Sunday evening which requires him to present himself to the grand jury within four days.

"WOW! On Sunday night, while I was with my family, having just arrived from the Turning Point event in Florida, where I won the Straw Poll against all other Republican candidates with 85.7%, with all polls showing me leading in the Republican Primary by very substantial numbers, almost everyone predicting that I will be the Republican Nominee for President, and as I am leading Democrat Joe Biden in the polls by a lot, HORRIFYING NEWS for our Country was given to me by my attorneys," Trump began.

"Deranged Jack Smith, the prosecutor with Joe Biden's DOJ, sent a letter (again, it was Sunday night!) stating that I am a TARGET of the January 6th Grand Jury investigation, and giving me a very short 4 days to report to the Grand Jury, which almost always means an Arrest and indictment," the leading Republican candidate explained.

"So now, Joe Biden's Attorney General, Merrick Garland, who I turned down for the United States Supreme Court (in retrospect, based on his corrupt and unethical actions, a very wise decision!), together with Joe Biden's Department of Injustice, have effectively issued a third indictment and Arrest of Joe Biden's NUMBER ONE POLITICAL OPPONENT, who is largely dominating him in the race for the Presidency," Trump wrote.

"Nothing like this has ever happened in our Country before, or even close," the 45th president continued. "They illegally spied on my Campaign, attacked me with a totally Fake 'Dossier' that was funded by Hillary Clinton's Campaign and the DNC, Impeached me twice (I won!), they failed on the Mueller Witch Hunt (No Collusion!), they failed on the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, the 51 'intelligence' Agents fraud, the FBI/Twitter files, the DOJ/Facebook censorship, and every other scam imaginable."

"But on top of all of that, they have now effectively indicted me three times (the DOJ staffed and runs the D.A.'s Office in Manhattan), with a probable fourth coming from Atlanta, where the DOJ are in strict, and possibly illegal, coordination with the District Attorney, whose record on murder and other violent crime is abysmal," Trump explained.

"THIS WITCH HUNT IS ALL ABOUT ELECTION INTERFERENCE AND A COMPLETE AND TOTAL POLITICAL WEAPONIZATION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT! It is a very sad and dark period for our Nation!" the statement concluded.​​​​​​​
