'There Has Never Been Anything Like The MAGA Movement': Trump Announces MASSIVE July Fundraising Haul

On Thursday, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump announced that his campaign raised nearly $140 million in July with well over a quarter of a billion dollars of cash on hand. The huge haul is likely due to the plethora of historic events that took place during the month, including Trump's attempted assassination and his third nomination as the GOP's presidential nominee.

"There has never been anything like the MAGA Movement. We raised $139 Million Dollars in July alone," Trump posted to Truth Social. "We now have a whopping $327 Million Cash On Hand. Spectacular support from Great American Patriots who are donating to our Campaign for President of the United States, and helping out in many other ways. Much work to be done, but I will always keep fighting for YOU. Our Country is failing, but we will turn it around, quickly, and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

Team Trump's fundraising haul in July was a major improvement from the month prior. According to FEC reports, the Trump campaign raised $112 million in June, meaning July saw a 24 percent increase month-over-month. The Trump campaign's most successful fundraising month since the beginning of the 2024 cycle was in July, when the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee raised $141 million as Republicans closed the fundraising gap that President Biden had at the time.

While Trump nearly matched his fundraising record for 2024, Vice President Harris's entry into the race allowed Democrats to shatter the 45th president's numbers. Likely due to the high-dollar donors that were withholding funds from President Biden until he dropped out, the Harris campaign was able to rake in $310 million in less than two weeks.

The huge increase in campaign funds for Harris has propelled her campaign tremendously by erasing Trump's cash advantage and having over $377 million on hand compared to Trump's $327 million war chest, according to POLITICO. The shocking fundraising haul has reversed Democrats' fortunes and allowed Harris to begin to compete with Trump in advertising spending.

While the influx of cash doesn't necessarily correlate with an increase in poll numbers, Harris has seen a significant bounce in the polling compared to her former running mate. Recent national polls show the race tightening significantly as the Democrat nominee begins to make headway in the national polls thanks to the mainstream media's high praise for the San Fransisco radical. While Trump maintains a solid lead in the swing states of Arizona, Nevada, and Georgia, he would still need to win at least one of the Great Lakes states to win an electoral college victory in November.
