On Wednesday, conservative podcaster and founder of The Blaze Glenn Beck took to social media to call attention to Apple's recent move to remove his show, 'The Glenn Beck Program,' from Apple podcasts with seemingly no explanation.
"We're just sitting here in my office and discussing something that we just saw," Beck said before turning the camera to his computer screen. "This is from Apple. 'We found an issue from your show 'The Glenn Beck Program' which must be resolved before it is available on Apple Podcasts. Your show has been removed by the Apple Podcast team.'"
The former Fox News host went on to explain that the company sent them a link for more details, however, when they went to the link it didn't give any explanation.
"I cannot imagine what they are basing this one on," Beck said. "I mean, have we even had strikes? Nothing. This is crazy, crazy."
The conservative personality then called upon users on social media to take action and retweet his video in order to get Apple's attention. "This is absolutely freedom of speech. There is nothing that we have said that would warrant any removal," the Blaze podcaster said. "This is huge. I'm getting ready to rehearse the show for tonight. Tonight is a really important one. Maybe that's what it is because I am pointing out the real crime family tonight on Blaze TV."
"All of my podcasts have been removed from Apple/iTunes with no explanation," he added in a follow-up tweet.
Following Beck's rallying cry, various conservative personalities voiced their support and called upon Apple to read the podcasts and uncensored Glenn. Included in the rallying cry was Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) who wrote, "Need some answers from Apple ASAP. This looks an awful lot like a major American corporation engaging in election interference."
Despite the immense pushback, with Beck's original call to action getting millions of impressions, Apple has yet to restore 'The Glenn Beck Program.' Beck delivered an update a few hours later, writing, "After over 5 hours of my entire catalog of podcasts episodes (over 3,000) being removed from Apple, and despite receiving a confirmation email congratulating me that my podcast is 'Now Available,' The Glenn Beck Program is STILL not available on Apple Podcast. Still no explanation for why it was removed. Help us keep the pressure on them until we get answers."
Instances like these show once again how Big Tech put its weight on the electoral scale in favor of the Democrat Party. In nearly every instance, conservatives are the ones being silenced and often without any explanation why. Hopefully, Apple reverses its decision and restores 'The Glenn Beck Program' to its well-deserved glory.
