The upcoming “Trans Day of Vengeance,” scheduled for Saturday in Washington, D.C. which was popularized on social media and led to a crackdown on Twitter owing to its violent imagery, has been reportedly canceled.
According to The Daily Wire, Our Rights DC, one of the organizations co-organizing the event published a Twitter thread indicating that the event has in fact been canceled.
“This action will not be taking place Saturday due to a credible threat to life and safety,” the group wrote.

“The safety of our trans community is first priority. This threat is the direct result of the flood of raw hatred directed toward the trans community after the Tennessee shooting.”
In a statement through an extended Twitter thread, the group claimed that,
“Individuals who had nothing to with that heinous act have been subjected to highly serious threats and blamed only because of their gender identity. This is one of the steps in genocide, and we will continue our efforts to protect trans lives.”
The statement continued, “While we wholeheartedly believe in the mission and message we put forth for trans day of vengeance, we must prioritize the safety of our community and the people that make it up.”

The group however, and those advocating for the now-canceled event fail to address the inherent violence and threat present in the very name of the event: ‘Trans Day of VENGEANCE.’ The very definition of Vengeance is “punishment inflicted in retaliation for an injury or offense,” according to Merriam Webster, it is defined as punishment that is “suffering, pain, or loss that serves as retribution.”
The very term is indicative of VIOLENCE by its nature.
To summarize: a demonstration that promised violence by its very name confirmed by the social media suspensions that followed it, representing a group that is showing increasing radicalization, (and reportedly raising money for “firearms and weapons training,” according to expert in leftist extremism, Andy Ngô) has canceled the event due to unspecified “threats.”

As Oli London, author of Gender Madness noted, “The “Trans Day of Vengeance” protest, which had been calling for extreme violence, has been CANCELLED The organizers, who had been doing firearms training, and spoke about using violence are now claiming it was cancelled because THEY had ‘Credible Threat”

It would seem that the cancelation of the ‘Day of Vengeance’ is the best possible outcome.
