On Thursday, Harvard-Harris released a new poll that shows 45th President and leading Republican presidential contender Donald J. Trump dominating his hypothetical 2024 Presidential competition.
The poll was conducted from April 18th through April 19th. The poll finds Donald J. Trump besting Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) by 35 percentage points in a hypothetical 2024 presidential matchup. While Trump managed to gain 55 percent of voter support, Ron DeSantis only managed to grab 20 percent from respondents. The rest of the vote was divided among a slate of potential Republican 2024 nominees.
This shows that Donald J. Trump is still the leading Republican contender — and so far, it is not a particularly close contest. Like in 2016, it appears no Republican candidate is stumping Donald Trump.
DeSantis’s numbers improve considerably when put in a hypothetical one-on-one primary contest with 45th President Trump. DeSantis manages to grab 39 percent of the available vote in that hypothetical contest. Nonetheless, that improvement is insufficient to supplant Donald J. Trump’s 61 percent support.

As impressive as Trump’s numbers are compared to the potential Republican opposition, his numbers are also remarkable when put up against Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in a 2024 matchup.
Trump manages to grab 45 percent of voter support in a hypothetical matchup with Joe Biden. Meanwhile, Joe Biden manages to grab a measly 40 percent from those polled. Only 15 percent of voters remain undecided.
It is no wonder why Trump is dominating Biden; the current administration has done absolutely nothing of note in service of the American people. While Donald Trump made us proud to be Americans, Joe Biden detests America as established and shies away from promoting her greatness. While Trump saw America as a shining city upon a hill, Biden sees America as a place to be ashamed of, a systemically corrupt country lacking in human decency.
Trump’s numbers against Kamala Harris are even more impressive. While Trump managed to grab 48 percent of support among those surveyed, Harris only managed to grab 38 percent. Only 14 percent of voters remain undecided. Harris has done nothing to separate herself from Biden’s failed policies, which reflects poorly on her, provided she receives the coveted 2024 Democratic nomination.
All in all, these great numbers surely have Trump grinning ear to ear.
