Trump Boasts Of His Success On CNN, Calls Out Triggered Leftists Attacking Him

Donald Trump has been ecstatic since his ‘Town Hall’ on CNN, taking to his social media to speak about the astounding results of the program. 

On Trump's official Truth Social account, he wrote “People are criticizing CNN for giving me a Forum to tell the TRUTH. I believe it was a very smart thing that they did, with Sky High Ratings that they haven’t seen in a very long time. It was by far the biggest Show of the night, the week, and the month!”

Trump's program was able to garner the eyes of over thrree million Americans to listen to his opinions and political views. 

“The Radical Left screamed, 'Take it down, take it down,' during the Show, because they saw that I was making so many important points on the Border, Energy Independence, the Afghanistan Catastrophe, Inflation, the Economy, Russia/Ukraine, and so much more,” Trump added in a following post. “Many minds were changed on Wednesday night by listening to Common Sense, and sheer 'Brilliance.'”

In Trump's second post, he shared a New York Times article talking about the backlash that the CEO of CNN faced for airing the town hall. The article discusses the criticisms that CNN CEO Chris Licht faced from the radical left. Many people were angry that the company did anything that allowed Trump to be portrayed in a non-negative light. 

“I absolutely, unequivocally believe America was served very well by what we did last night,” Mr. Licht added. “People woke up, and they know what the stakes are in this election in a way that they didn’t the day before. And if someone was going to ask tough questions and have that messy conversation, it damn well should be on CNN.”

Regardless of the anger the left attempted to weaponize against CNN, the town hall still received stellar ratings from viewers. Breitbart reported that the Trump town hall received five times the usual ratings compared to other programs in the same 8 pm block. The program even nearly tripled the numbers for Fox’s and MSNBC’s eight pm slot, completely dominating the hour. 

It’s no wonder Trump is so thrilled with the results of the town hall. Trump was able to completely dominate the discussion, preventing host Kaitlin Collins from cornering the former president into negative questions and answers. While many leftists will continue to try their hardest to paint the man in a negative light, the facts of the matter will shine through regardless.
