Trump DOMINATES Biden Among Independents, Americans Want Trump Back In The White House New Poll Shows

Trump continues to gain an edge on the mentally declining incumbent President Joe Biden as a recent poll revealed that the New York City businessman has garnered more support among independents than that of his Democratic counterpart.

The poll, carried out by The Economist/YouGov, was conducted from May 27-31 asking 1,500 U.S. adult citizens who they would support if there was a 2024 election between Trump and Biden.

As expected, each candidate polled well with their respective party with Trump getting 83 percent support among Republicans and Biden garnering 86 percent support with Democrats. The defining part comes with independents, where 36 percent shared that they would be inclined to support the former president while only 26 percent intended to vote for the incumbent president, a notable ten percent drop.

From among those polled, however, 17 percent of independents said they did not intend to vote at all with 11 percent indicating “other” and nine percent unsure of who they’d support.

In an overall matchup, each candidate is tied at 39 percent support with nine percent indicating they had no intent to vote. Another seven percent said they would vote for “other” and five percent were unsure.

Despite having matching overall intended voter numbers, Trump is more expected among voters to win the 2024 matchup. From those polled, 39 percent said they saw the former chief of state returning to the post in 2024, while only 36 percent saw Biden maintaining the position. Over a quarter of respondents indicated they were unsure of who would secure the win in the election.

Again, Republicans and Democrats each believed that their given party representative would secure the election with 73 percent and 72 percent believing in their candidate, respectively. However, 35 percent of party members are still unsure of who would be able to win.

And once again independents show a clear leaning towards former President Trump with 40 percent believing that he would be able to win the 2024 election. Only 26 percent of independents believe that Biden could secure the win with 35 percent remaining unsure of who would win.

It’s unsurprising with the policy that Biden has pushed and the actions he has taken in office have resulted in flailing support for the Democrat. He’s proven he’s incapable both mentally and as an elected official and his decline mirrors that of the country under his watch.
