Former President Donald Trump’s Communication Director Taylor Budowich published an alleged Department of Justice (DOJ) Email this week, showing the department was in possession of Trump’s passports — countering a news report claiming the passports were not in their possession.
“This is how Fake News works, folks. Biden admin actively feeds half truths & lies that the media willingly amplifies —advancing a partisan narrative to attack Trump.” Budowich tweeted, before posting the contents of an email refuting several news reports about the seizure.
“We have learned that the filter agents seized three passports belonging to President Trump, two expired and one being his active diplomatic passport,” the Email read. “We are returning them, and they will be ready for pickup at WFO at 2 pm today. I am traveling, but you can coordinate further with [redacted] copied above. Thanks.”

Did you bother asking if they indeed seized the passports? https://t.co/DlzkagN0ie pic.twitter.com/VwCU7DPCvg

This news comes after Trump claimed the FBI took three of his passports on his TruthSocial account on Monday.
“Wow! In the raid by the FBI of Mar-a-Lago, they stole my three Passports (one expired), along with everything else. This is an assault on a political opponent at a level never seen before in our Country. Third World!” Trump posted.
Budowich was replying to CBS News anchor Norah O’Donnell, who tweeted, “The FBI is NOT in possession of former President Trump’s passports. Trump had accused the FBI of stealing his three passports during the search of his Mar-a-Lago home.”
“We are also learning tonight that if any items not contained in the warrant were retrieved during the FBI search at Mar-a-Lago, they will be returned.” She promptly added, in a follow-up tweet.

Trump’s own account was corroborated, by the way other news outlets reported on the story.
NBC News’s Kelly O’Donnell tweeted “A Department of Justice official tells me passports belonging to former Pres. Trump are NOT in the possession of the FBI and have been returned.”

The fact that they were returned, implies they were once in possession of the FBI. Once again, Trump is vindicated. Will the mainstream media ever learn? Vote this November.
