Trump Goes After ‘Club For NO Growth’ After They Exclude Him From 2024 GOP Event

Forty-fifth President and leading 2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump slammed a conservative advocacy group, called the Club for Growth, dubbing them the “Club for NO Growth,” after it was revealed they will be hosting official and potential 2024 GOP candidates except for Trump.

“Club for NO Growth is an insignificant group of Globalists who I have beaten badly because of their anti America First views. They will only get the ‘stragglers,’” Trump wrote in a post on Tuesday on his successful social media platform, Truth Social.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence, Republican candidate Nikki Haley, and more are scheduled to speak at the 2024 GOP annual donor retreat from March 2 to March 4 in Trump’s home area of Palm Beach, Florida.

In an additional post on Truth Social, Trump revealed the real reason the group did not invite him with Trump stating that it was because he endorsed different Republican candidates then them during the 2022 midterm elections.

“The Club For NO Growth, an assemblage of political misfits, globalists, and losers, fought me incessantly and rather viciously during my presidential run in 2016,” Trump began.

“They said I couldn’t win, I did, and won even bigger in 2020, with millions of more votes than ‘16, but the Election was Rigged & Stollen. They asked to get together on Endorsements of candidates, we did, and had MANY WINS & NO losses,” Trump added.

“Relationship broke up over my Endorsement of certain great people in Alabama & Ohio. I won them all!,” Trump revealed.

This comes the same week as the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) which will be held in Washington. CPAC will be hosting the 2024 Republican frontrunner, Donald Trump.

According to a recent poll released on Friday, Trump would beat President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris if the election were held today.

The poll, released exclusively to The Hill by Harvard CAPS-Harris Polling, asked 1,838 registered voters from February 15-16 who they would vote for if the 2024 presidential election were held today.

Trump beat Biden by five points with 46 percent, compared to Biden’s 41 percent. Trump also beat Harris, beating her by ten points with 49 percent, compared to her 39 percent.

In the Republican primary, Trump beat Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) by 23 points. Trump doubled DeSantis with 46 percent to DeSantis’s 23 percent. This is a five point drop in support for DeSantis since last month.

With polls showing Trump in the lead amongst his potential Republican challengers, any potential candidate will have an impossible uphill battle if they attempt to usurp the favorite to win the 2024 nomination. A favorite that has been polled to beat anyone in a 2024 matchup.
