On Tuesday, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) released the indictment against 45th President Donald Trump with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. In response legal experts, political commentators, and other blasted the clear political persecution of the leading Republican candidate.
“The Trump indictment, which I read, would be laughable in any other circumstance, wrote Cernovich on Twitter. “It’s the same offense copied and pasted 34 times, with the date changed each time. This is the biggest farce I’ve ever seen.”

“This indictment is a complete abomination,” wrote Article 3 Project’s Mike Davis. “Even dumber and more partisan than I expected. Bragg is a clown.”

“Alvin Bragg was able to elevate the 34 counts to the level of a felony by saying they were to ‘conceal another crime’ but didn’t include the crime he claims was being covered up in the indictment because ‘the law does not so require,'” wrote Benny Johnson. “Sounds weak.”

“Alvin Bragg is attempting to interfere in our democratic process by invoking federal law to bring politicized charges against President Trump, admittedly using federal funds, while at the same time arguing that the peoples’ representatives in Congress lack jurisdiction to investigate this farce,” wrote Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA). “Not so. Bragg’s weaponization of the federal justice process will be held accountable by Congress.”
