Donald Trump SLAMS The 'Fake' Mainstream Media's 'Bloodbath' Hoax

During a rally on Saturday in Dayton, Ohio, presumptive GOP nominee and 45th President Donald Trump explained to the crowd that there would be a "bloodbath in the county" for the US auto industry if he wasn't reelected in November. The video clip of his remark, however, was edited to eliminate the context of his remarks and instead led many in the mainstream media to report that Trump was calling for violence if he wasn't elected in November. Trump slammed those deceptively leaving out the full context of his remarks on Truth Social on Monday.

The viral clip, which was shared by the left-wing group Medias Touch, garnered over 20 million views and shows Trump telling the Dayton crowd, "If I don't get elected, it's gonna be a bloodbath for the whole—That'll be the least of it. It's going to be a bloodbath for the country. That will be the least of it." Prior to that snippet, however, the 45th president was telling the crowd about his plan to put a tariff on car imports from Mexico to prevent the auto industry from collapsing and suffering a "bloodbath."

"The Fake News Media, and their Democrat Partners in the destruction of our Nation, pretended to be shocked at my use of the word BLOODBATH, even though they fully understood that I was simply referring to imports allowed by Crooked Joe Biden, which are killing the automobile industry," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "The United Auto Workers, but not their leadership, fully understand what I mean. With the Electric Car Mandate being pushed by Biden, there soon won't be any cars made in the USA - UNLESS I'M ELECTED PRESIDENT, IN WHICH CASE AUTO MANUFACTURING WILL THRIVE LIKE NEVER BEFORE!!! MAGA2024."

Many in the mainstream media blatantly used Trump's "bloodbath" comment to craft deceptive headlines that made it seem as though Trump was calling for violence if he did not win in November. Top Democrats also ran with the out-of-context clip with President Joe Biden writing, "It's clear this guy wants another January 6. But the American people are going to give him another resounding electoral defeat this November." Trump's former opponent Hillary Clinton, who clearly hasn't gotten over her loss in 2016, wrote, "'A bloodbath. What would you say if you saw this in another country?"
