Trump: Biden 'Doesn't Understand What MAGA Means,' Slams Biden For Ruining The Economy With The 'Bidenomics Bust'

During a Fox Business interview on 'Kudlow' with host Larry Kudlow, 45th President Donald J. Trump thoroughly, proverbially roasted incumbent Democrat President Joe Biden to a charred, deeply desiccated crisp over his aptly named 'Bidenomics' which has proven utterly disastrous and his total disconnect with the very notion of 'MAGA' as both a movement and a political philosophy.

As Trump and Kudlow discussed the differences between the Trump boom and the "Bidenomics bust" the economist and former adviser to President Ronald Reagan went through the proof by the numbers.

According to Fox Business, Kudlow referenced irrefutable figures such as the 2.65 percent mortgage rate at the end of Trump's first term versus the 7.51 percent interest choking the market today. He also referenced a well-reported 20 percent hike in grocery prices versus the 1.9 percent inflation under Trump with the president noting that this was a "perfect number" given that economists have emphasized to him that two percent is the target inflation rate.

On the jobs side of the equation Kudlow gave the figures that the economy under Trump created 4.9 million jobs in the first 30 months, while under the weight of Biden's regulations, the U.S. only created 2.1 million over the same period when subtracting those jobs temporarily lost during the Covid-19 pandemic. Regarding the alleged 13 million new jobs and suggestions that a million manufacturing jobs were created since 2021, Kudlow said Biden's economy and false statements regarding the economy under Trump were "a disgrace," adding "No one can find them," he said. "[M]aybe [they're counting the] recovery from COVID."

But perhaps the most devastating criticism was for Biden's mischaracterization of the 'MAGA' movement and political philosophy. Biden's recent maligning of "MAGA Republicans" and the "MAGA political platform," were presented in a montage by Kudlow with Biden claiming the 'America First' policy "double[s] down on the same failed policies of the past," he suggested nonsensically that it is an iteration of "a top-down, trickle-down economics [that] never ever worked."

Trump said that Biden "doesn't understand what MAGA means" and wouldn't be able to articulate the platform if pressed.

"He would not be able to say ‘Make America Great Again’ -- He's always saying ‘MAGA -- those MAGA people’. But if you would say ‘what does MAGA stand for’, he wouldn't know,"

"It's amazing because you watch him, you don't even think he's going to get through the sentence – the stopping and the halting," he said.

"But this guy is advising us he is the one negotiating with other countries. And, you know, we're going to end up in a world war. So beyond taxes, I'm talking about [how] we have a man that's grossly incompetent."
