A new poll released from JL Partners showed that 45th President and leading 2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump is blowing his Republican competition out of the water in New Hampshire.
The poll found that Trump enjoys a 33-point lead over Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) with 51 percent support. Gov. DeSantis received 18 percent support while every other candidate didn’t get over 10 percent.
New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu (R-NH) received 10 percent support, though it is unlikely that he will enter the race.
Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley received four percent support, former Vice President Mike Pence got two percent, and Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy received one percent each.
Additionally, the poll found that Trump is leading DeSantis considerably in a two-way race with the 45th president enjoying 53 percent support amongst respondents while DeSantis only got 33 percent.
TRUMP SCORES ANOTHER BIG ENDORSEMENT FROM KEY REPUBLICAN CONGRESSWOMAN
As Trump continues to skyrocket in the polls, he is also picking up multiple endorsements. As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Trump recently scored the endorsement of Rep. John Rutherford (R-FL), Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL), and Rep. Diana Harshbarger (R-TN).
Other endorsements from Florida include Reps. Matt Gaetz, Anna Paulina Luna, Byron Donalds, Cory Mills, John Rutherford, and Greg Steube all support the leading Republican candidate.
Senate Republicans have also taken Trump’s side with the 45th president having the support of nine Republican senators including Sens. Ted Budd (R-NC), Lindsay Graham (R-SC), Bill Hagerty (R-TN), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), Eric Schmitt (R-MO), Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS), Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), and J.D. Vance (R-OH).
As Trump continues to show his strengthening numbers in the early primary states, it is unlikely that a Republican contender will be able to unseat Trump as the frontrunner. Americans, however, will have to decide once the debates take place this fall and the first primary races begin in early 2024.
