Trump X Tucker Breaks The Internet – Interview Gets Over 70 Million Views In Under An Hour

On Wednesday night, the interview between Tucker Carlson and Donald Trump hit X (formerly Twitter) right before the Republican debates began, managing to get well over 74 million views before even being released for a whole hour.

Carlson has been no stranger to highly viewed videos on X, with many of his initial show episodes quickly surpassing the 100 million view mark in a matter of days. However, the interview with the former president has completely shattered any record that he may have once held for his account.

The first hour has been a roaring success for Trump and Tucker. Despite the GOP debates theoretically pulling potential viewers away from the interview, the video is on track to have 100 million views before the two-hour mark. Within the first hour, it’s gotten over 70,000 reposts, 240,000 likes, and tens of thousands of comments from fans of Carlson and the popular Republican candidate praising the interview.

The risky timing of the interview was very much intentional, with Carlson releasing a video hours before the discussion with Trump was posted where he confirmed he would be posting it right before the GOP debate began on Fox News.

The New York businessman himself teased the interviews drop, writing on his Truth Social account “MY INTERVIEW WITH TUCKER CARLSON WILL BE AIRED TONIGHT AT 9:00 P.M. ‘SPARKS WILL FLY.’ ENJOY!”

It’s very unlikely that the debate will be able to match near the number of views that Carlson’s interview with Trump has gotten, seemingly already making a winner for tonight.
