Tucker Carlson Sends A Strong Message To Those Who Want Him Censored

On Monday, it was announced that Tucker Carlson will be leaving Fox News with the host’s final show being last Friday, April 21st.

“Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” the network said in a statement, according to Forbes.

“We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor,” Fox continued in its statement. “Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday, April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.”

In response to his ouster, Tucker Carlson deleted his Twitter bio and linked to his personal website, tuckercarlson.com.

When you visit the site, a pop-up appears that allows you to become a Tucker Carlson insider in order to keep up to date with what the former Fox News host has planned for the future.

In addition, the image that emblazes the site is one of Tucker looking out into the distance with a lake behind him. Carlson is known for his love of the outdoors and particularly his passion for fly fishing.

Across the image is the following message: “The sworn enemy of censorship.”

The Fox host has been repeatedly called to be silenced by critics including Rep. Alexandria Ocascio-Cortez (D-NY), as previously reported by the DC Enquirer.

On Sunday, AOC appeared on MSNBC‘s ‘The Inside Interview with Jen Psaki’ to call for the silencing of conservative voices on cable news like Carlson because she believes that he “incite[s] violence.”

“I believe that when it comes to broadcast television like Fox News, these are subject to federal law, federal regulation in terms of what is allowed on air and what isn’t,” the ‘Squad’ member claimed. “And when you look at Tucker Carlson and some of these other folks on Fox do, it is very clearly incitement of violence.”

“Very clearly incitement of violence. And that is the line that I think we have to be willing to contend with,” she concluded.

AOC seems to have won a minor victory with Carlson’s departure from Fox, however, Carlson is clearly sending a message to anyone who wishes to silence him. His efforts on Fox are just the beginning and Americans look forward to seeing what lies ahead for the conservative leader.
