BREAKING: Tucker Carlson Will Host The First Republican Presidential Forum of 24'— Here's Who's Attending

Former Fox News host turned Twitter video trailblazer Tucker Carlson will host the First GOP Presidential Forum of the 2024 Presidential Election according to reports released Monday. The event, being produced by Blaze TV and THE FAMiLY LEADER is set to air on Friday, July 14th via YouTube and the Blaze TV streaming service.

The Blaze, founded by fellow former Fox host Glenn Beck tweeted Monday morning, "Blaze Media is teaming up with THE FAMiLY LEADER to bring you the first presidential forum of the 2024 Republican Primary season, hosted by Tucker Carlson. We’ll be live streaming this event all day Friday, July 14th on BlazeTV and the BlazeTV YouTube channel."

The early imagery of the tweet indicates that five candidates are confirmed as attending at this time: former Vice President Mike Pence, Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, former Ambassador to The UN Nikki Haley, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

While President Donald Trump leads the polls by an average of 32.1 points according to RealClearPolitics as of this report. A recent Harvard Harris Poll had Trump leading by as much as 45%. As of Monday evening, he has made no comment regarding the forum or his possible attendance, although the selection of Carlson, who has typically enjoyed favorable regard from the 45th President, it certainly seems more likely than any other debate.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Trump responded coolly to word that the first official debate of the 2024 Republican Presidential nomination will be put on by Fox News and hosted by Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum.

In a post to TruthSocial, Trump was direct in his criticism which has led many to contemplate that he could decline to participate.

He wrote, "I see that everybody is talking about the Republican Debates, but nobody got my approval, or the approval of the Trump Campaign, before announcing them. When you’re leading by seemingly insurmountable numbers, and you have hostile Networks with angry, TRUMP & MAGA hating anchors asking the “questions,” why subject yourself to being libeled and abused? Also, the Second Debate is being held at the Reagan Library, the Chairman of which is, amazingly, Fred Ryan, Publisher of The Washington Post. NO!"

The Blaze describing the event in YouTube's caption wrote, "This will be Tucker’s first major public event since his departure from Fox News. Tune in LIVE as he speaks one-on-one with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence, U.S. Senator Tim Scott, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson."

Notably, Gov. Hutchinson was not included in the initial announcement which may suggest he was added later in production. Furthermore, the forum is presented as being "one-on-one" between Carlson and the candidates, suggesting that the contenders might not share a stage, but rather meet with Carlson individually.
