Tucker Carlson’s Next Move: Former Fox Host Is Back On The Road

Top-rated media personality Tucker Carlson’s dramatic exit from Fox News and subsequent cryptic messaging via a sole video update to Twitter shortly after has left conservative audiences in suspense. Millions of Americans are still waiting to find out what the prime-time conservative host’s next move will be. This week may yield a clue.

According to reporting from The Western Journal’s Richard Moorhead, Tucker is headed for the fundraising circuit.

Some have speculated that Carlson will strike out on his own and build a subscription-based empire à la Glenn BeckBill O’Reilly, or Tim Pool. Others have suggested that he may seek a more direct involvement in American politics.

The Western Journal reported that Carlson is heading to Alabama to fundraise, but not for a Republican candidate or PAC but rather for Rainbow Omega, a philanthropic endeavor to support a residential care home for adults with mental disabilities near the town of Oxford in Northeastern Alabama.

AL.com wrote that Carlson was already scheduled for the event well before his departure from Fox occurred.

Tim Hodge, Director of Rainbow Omega told AL.com,

“He’ll be here Thursday,” adding “We actually booked him back last fall.”

Hodge further observed, “The timing for last week’s announcement was unexpected by anybody.”

“Anytime you have a featured speaker from the world of politics, with our country’s political divide, you can bet there’s a lot of interest,” he continued.

“It was kind of an unusual situation. There has been renewed interest.”

“We’re looking forward to him being here and being part of our fundraiser,” Hodge concluded.

Carlson will appear at 7 PM May 4th at the Oxford Performing Arts Center, tickets are still available as of this writing with seats ranging from $50-$80 per person.

According to Rainbow Omega’s website, the organization’s Christian-oriented mission is to,

“To glorify God by ensuring that adults with developmental disabilities have a permanent and safe home where their abilities and potentials are respected and nurtured in a Christian environment.”
