WATCH: Anti-Israel Demonstrators Surround DNC, Demand 'Killer Kamala' Support Israel-Hamas Ceasefire

The day before the Democratic National Convention began in Chicago, anti-Israel protesters on Sunday gave a preview of what the week would be like for Democrats hoping to officially nominate the Harris-Walz ticket without interruption. Thousands of demonstrators gathered outside the DNC to protest "Killer Kamala" and voice their criticism of the Democratic Party's support of Israel.

The protest march on Sunday, organized by a group made up of a coalition of "feminist, LGBTQ, and pro-Palestinian organizations" called Bodies Outside of Unjust Laws, protested in favor of LGBTQ+ rights, national legislation on abortion, the divestment of American funds from Israel, and an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. The demonstrators were seen walking with a sign that read "Killer Kamala. Gazas Speaking" while shouting, "It's not complicated, Gaza will be liberated."

A spokesman for the organization told reporters that they are expecting massive demonstrations throughout the week. "Almost 270 organizations from across the U.S. have joined the coalition to March on the DNC," Hatem Abudayyeh said, per Breitbart. "Tens of thousands will be out on the streets starting tomorrow, August 19, at noon, right here at Union Park to say, 'Stop the genocide now, end U.S. aid to Israel and free Palestine.'"

In addition to the protests that engulfed the DNC's pre-convention festivities on Sunday, protesters were also seen disrupting the welcome events for delegates at Navy Pier on Sunday evening. The demonstrator rushed the stage, shouting, "You are funding a genocide. One hundred fifty thousand people are dead. The Harris-Biden administration keeps sending money to Israel." The masked demonstrator was heard yelling "free Palestine" as they were dragged off stage by security.

Demonstrators have planned at least five more marches through the last day of the convention on Thursday. Thousands, organized by the United States Palestinian Community Network, gathered at Union Park on Monday to march on the DNC. While the city is expected to be engulfed with protests throughout the convention, authorities assure convention attendees and Chicago residents that they shouldn't be fearful of the demonstrators.

"People in the city of Chicago shouldn't be afraid," Chicago Police Department Superintendent Larry Snelling explained to FOX 32. "You should not be afraid to go about your day and do what you normally do. Will there be disruptions in traffic? Yes. So you're going to see a lot more traffic. But you're also going to see a lot more officers. High visibility of officers, bike patrol, you're going to see all of those things out there."
