WATCH: Biden-Harris Humiliated After Trump Shows Up To Same Venue To Thunderous Applause - 'Spot The Difference'

On the 23rd anniversary of 9/11 on Wednesday, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris visited a volunteer fire station in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, after a wreath-laying ceremony at the memorial of Flight 93. The duo were welcomed by an unenthusiastic crowd of 9/11 families and first responders. In stark contrast to the Biden-Harris visit, 45th President Donald Trump visited the rural southwestern Pennsylvania firehouse to thunderous applause as those in attendance cheered on the Republican candidate and pulled out their phones to take photos and video.

In a side-by-side video that has gone viral on social media, Biden and Harris entered the fire station as they smiled awkwardly, and patrons looked away without applauding them. In contrast, President Trump entered the facility and was welcomed by an applauding crowd, many of whom were wearing Trump shirts and hats, vying for his attention. During the event, Trump pointed out to a man who, earlier in the day, encouraged President Biden to put on a "Trump 2024" hat.

During the exchange, President Biden handed the man his presidential seal hat and said he would autograph it. "You remember your name?" the man asked Biden. "I don't remember my name... I'm slow," Biden said as he got a pen from an aide. "You're an old fart," the man said as Biden signed the blue hat. "He reminds me of the guys I grew up with. There was always one in the neighborhood," Biden told the crowd. The owner of the Trump hat then handed the 81-year-old president the campaign hat and encouraged the president to put it on. "There it is," the owner of the Trump hat said when Biden put it on. "I'm proud of you now, you old fart!"

The moment caught the attention of several conservative commentators, with Ben Shapiro posting to X, "This is charming. It is also telling. Biden has spent years telling us that Trump is a deep threat to the Republic, a Hitler-in-waiting. He doesn't believe that. He's been lying. If he truly thought that, nothing -- not even politics -- could make him put on that hat."

Biden's decision to wear the hat and the stark side-by-side comparison of the two events came after President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, President Trump, and Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) attended the 9/11 remembrance memorial in New York on Wednesday morning. During the solemn event at Ground Zero, Trump briefly shook hands and exchanged some words with Harris.
