WATCH: CIA Officer Reveals Undercover FBI Agents Were In January 6 Crowd - 'The Bureau Didn't Really Want People Knowing'

On Tuesday, Sound Investigations released an explosive undercover video with former FBI employee and current CIA officer Gavin O'Blennis. In the video, O'Blennis, a contracting officer at the CIA and a former employee at the FBI's San Diego field office, admitted that at least 20 members of the FBI were present in the crowd on January 6, 2021. He also explained the ways in which the FBI went after controversial political commentator Alex Jones after he falsely claimed that the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting was a false flag attack.

On the topic of January 6, the undercover journalist asked O'Blennis, "I thought you said that there were FBI agents in the crowd at J6?" To this, the former FBI employee said, "There are. There always are when there's a big protest in DC. Just in case it gets out of hand like that. But there wasn't enough to turn that tide. I mean, I'm talking they maybe had 20. You needed 1,000 to get rid of that crowd."

"So they had, like, that was just 20?" the undercover journalist asked. "Yeah, just to go through, to observe, to see what I can hear. You know? That kind of thing." O'Blennis then questioned why the Capitol Police didn't take additional action to contain the crowd on that day and why the FBI didn't have more agents in the crowd to prevent the storming of the US Capitol building.

"The Bureau didn't really want people knowing they were in the crowd?" the journalist asked prompting O'Blennis to nod in affirmation. "That would be overstepping their bounds?" "A little bit," the CIA officer responded. "Do people know that the Bureau was in the crowd?" the journalist asked. "Nope. And probably never will," the former FBI employee responded, adding that he knew some of the undercover agents that were in the crowd.

In addition to providing damning new information about the role of federal agents on January 6, O'Blennis also bragged about how the Bureau can go after "problematic" right-wing commentators like Alex Jones and Tucker Carlson. The former FBI employee stated that the Bureau "nudged" the families of Sandy Hook to go after Jones civilly in order to bankrupt him.

“We can put anyone in jail…set ’em up!… We call it a nudge," he said. It is important to note that O'Blennis could be embellishing the information he unknowingly provided to the undercover journalist. FBI whistleblower Kyle Seraphin pointed out as much when he wrote, "If this confirms so many things you thought, you aren't thinking. This guy is my age. He was checking in patients at the VA when I started at as an FBI agent (and I was 10 years older than many). In 2022, he was a secretary at the FBI. BE SKEPTICAL people. Jeez."
