WATCH: Dave Ramsay Reveals Who He's Voting For In The Presidential Race - 'I Own The Show And, So You're Not Gonna Get To Cancel Me'

On Friday, radio host and investment coach Dave Ramsay explained that he will support 45th President Donald Trump in the presidential race after comparing the policies of both candidates. Ramsay's endorsement of the Republican nominee comes after he interviewed Trump earlier this month and after Vice President Harris refused to sit down with him.

"I'm looking at ideas and which ideas land on which side of the aisle. Where am I most likely going to get a tax policy I like? An immigration policy I like? A foreign policy I like? Where am I most likely to get a gun policy I like? A climate change policy I like? A woke policy I like, that I agree with? Where am I most likely to get that? I can check those boxes very clearly and very quickly on these two candidates," Ramsay said.

"I'm gonna tell you, I'm voting for Donald Trump, not because I'm voting Trump for Donald Trump but because I checked those boxes, and more of those are on that side than on the other side," he explained. "Some of you are never gonna listen to me again after this. That's okay. I can deal with that. That has happened to me for 30 years. People have threatened me like, 'I'm going to cancel you.' That's hard to do. I own the show and, so you're not gonna get to cancel me. So you can leave, but you can't cancel me."

Ramsay interviewed the former president at Trump Tower earlier this month, telling Fox News that he wanted to keep the conversation focused on the economy and the impacts of his policies on small businesses and Americans' pocketbooks. "I tried to just sit back and listen. I wanted to talk about ideas on a pretty low, even keel instead of getting into stump hyperbole and all of that. And by and large, if you watch the interview, we were able to do that," the host of "The Ramsay Show" explained to Fox Business. "He was very direct and very knowledgeable about tax rates and about the things that move in the energy world and how that does intersect the economy, and how to control a commodity market as best you can from the presidential seat."
